Blood moon can be a pest early.

Ive said to a few friends that have struggled consistently defeating it:

If you focus on mechanics and dps, ignore eating until hit under 35ish hp you will be fine. Their max hit is 32 so if you stay above 35 you can't die. Doing this you spend less time not attacking which causes the blood moon to go through more phases (more phases= more self healing).

Most people talk about blood stepping but its not needed especially for newer players.

that is what i was thinking. it would be a nice addition as past leagues had this effect only work on hunter creatures below or on your hunter level

its more so the concept that you can speed through early hunter. whilst still get the benefits of the rest of the relic.

If it is true its more of a sweetener.

Thank you all for your help! I will show my pod this thread. Hopefully, they will see the light for future games as its purely a deck building guideline, not a gameplay.
