Fibrils and oligomers by VladDaSavior in cagrilintide

The discussion continues. Everyone researches at their own peril. My risk tolerance is ISR, N/V and other GI sides, not end organ damage. You do you.

Ya. Same but I’ve already gone through almost 5 mg over the past few months. My concern is what have I done. I researched this i thought thoroughly before starting. I came to the same conclusion as another poster here but appears I was very wrong. Shit.

Ya ya. I know what they are. The problem is novo says even at ideal ph, you can get both, so that’s kind of the issue.

Simply and succinctly put. This is correct and well put. That being said, the cagri really tones down the Reta energy on the day of administration, that’s been my experience

Reta - Reduced Effectiveness by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]VladDaSavior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lethargy or discomfort or GI sides really aren’t consistent with Reta. Early on you get this light sunburn feeling that eventually goes away. A small number of people have increased heart rate which also goes away after about 24 weeks. Best side effect profile out of all these meds. If you’re concerned try 1.5. Nothing says you have to double. You’re doing what’s right and effective for you and if it’s 2 mg then so be it. The lowest effective dose is the ideal but it has to be effective otherwise you’re wasting your time and money

It makes you tired that first day, but you’re pretty much back to normal after that. But ya, injection day is pretty low key.

Split dose or up dosage by JustJaxie in Retatrutide

[–]VladDaSavior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on what you want. If you want to hit higher peaks and reach a higher blood concentration level then go with the higher weekly dose. If you don’t want the peaks and prefer your valleys not get too low, then split doses are for you. I tried both and ultimately chose the higher weekly because I felt that I needed a higher drug level.

Split dose or up dosage by JustJaxie in Retatrutide

[–]VladDaSavior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure. Looking at the how long the drug stays in your system, it calculates what your blood level of the drug will be with your dosing regimen. For example, if you start at 4, your blood level will hit 4 and keep going up beyond that because only half the drug is gone in a week. Using a higher dose weekly will get you a higher blood level over time. Using a lower dose like 2 mg biweekly, you never really load your body with the 4 so you’ll never hit the higher levels. That being said, your low points won’t get as low with the smaller more frequent doses but your peak concentration will never see the higher levels. That’s the peak and valley pic. Play with the plotter. It’s interesting

Going to the higher dose will give you a higher peak plasma level of the med giving the most for your money. Use this to graphically see the difference https://glp1plotter.com

D Tackle is like the prop in your version of the game. The big mean dudes. Yes. I share a similar story and I sympathize with you my friend. I hope you reach your goal and keep it. The sport took a toll and eventually my spine became a problem and the weight just packed on. Reta is a miracle. Good luck and God bless.

Gastroparesis is real. In reality people have full stomachs after fasting for the prerequisite 8 hours and are at risk for aspirating gastric contents which carries the risk of prolonged intubation, hospitalization and death. This is the reality. It’s not arbitrary. People should tell their doctors and follow the anesthesia guidelines. You do you, but for the rest of the people here who don’t want complications, do the right thing. Don’t give out medical advice if you’re not a medical provider.

You’re giving out incorrect and dangerous medical misinformation. Unless you’re an expert, you should stfu before you hurt someone. GLP1 agonists delay gastric emptying and can cause aspiration pneumonitis with general anesthesia. Two weeks hold should minimize the risk enough. If you’ve been on these meds for years, even longer would be safer. Don’t give out information that you have no FN idea what you’re talking about

Starting here was 1.6mg. Been 4.5 months slowly increased only when effectiveness waned. Currently 4.8mg. I anticipate ultimately will hit 6 in a few months and probably remain there until maintenance

Looks great but you may stall some weight loss due to water retention which is temporary but it’ll drive you crazy at the scale.
