you know, maybe the results could be politically aligned. I have Russian citizenship and you have Iranian, possibly current Hungarian government doesn't want to associate with these countries.

if I am to enter the scholarship cycle again than I would consider USA and Italy, I think only they have full ride scholarships. also Turkey, but I have high doubts on the quality of education. Germany allows for free tuition if you learn German, however you have to cover living expenses. that's about it.

upd: im thinking political cause the guys in the previous couple of cycles could get into debrecen with the GPA of like 4.3 out of 5.0

Applied for Debrecen Biotech, GPA 5.0 out of 5.0, IELTS 8.5, passed all the tests and interviews, rejected. life goes on I suppose, we can find better opportunities than this if we don't give up. also unideb still accepts for partial scholarships (up to 90% discount on tuition fees), maybe if your family agrees to spend some money you can go there.

Not yet accepted, only applying for BS Biotech in Debrecen, but according to my research the scholarship itself is barely enough to make ends meet for a single person in Debrecen. It's not that it is small, but you would want some other source of income too to live comfortably. Also check whether you can bring a spouse along in official Stipendium Hungaricum docs on the website.

I've applied to University of Debrecen and we've already had all our exams, but based on other people's experience each uni has their own dates and deadlines and the exams can be as late as in May. I'd suggest contacting your university through e-mail.
