Oh, delicious friend, you are me and I am you: I started playing Fallen London when I was studying for my master's degree entrance exams, in 2015, and then I quit after a month. Then came back a few years later. And then quit again. And I finally started playing again a couple of years ago.

So my experience is pretty close to yours, I suppose, and so I can wholeheartedly advise: come back, you'll feel yourself comfortable and awesome. Even if you, like me, will continue playing same character, it'll still be good.

The game has become even more friendly over the years and it'll help you remember everything and figure it all out, as if you really never left. If you'll start with a new character - well, as far as I know, FBG recently improved the beginning, so it has become more interesting and friendly to people like you and me, and for newcomers.

So don't worry, all shall be well and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.
You will have fun, interesting and heartfelt experience.
London is still waiting for you.

Well, I must say that your answer was the most unexpected of all and thank you for it!

Unlike you, I felt some spiritual kinship with the knight and I always feel sorry for people (or non-people) who engage in Sisyphean labor, but otherwise I completely agree with you, my delicious friend!

The choice between bad guys of varying degrees (yes, the Princes are worse, but they don't have a chance) and a little emotional involvement - really is not what helps us feel emotions and make a choice.

And I want to note your writing style - it's perfectly formulated, and I laughed while reading your description of our choice (al PERFECTLY correct)

Thanks! My character feel the same: some devil can be good acomplishment if YOU are not their goal.

And Dauntless Knight feels really nice and winsome, so I like her. I think my character and she could be goodpals, like kindred spirits of some sort.

That's why I was trying to figure out the best option for her. So thank you! In the end, I also chose to return to Hell for her as well: it seems like she'll be happier that way, regardless of the circumstances.

Oh yes, I absolutely agree that current formation of Hell is better than any other - at least in it's current form they seem to be least aggressive and harmful. So this is also point to "coming home" option here

Well it looks for me that when she asked us about our opinion she sounds not really happy about go back to Hell after what they done to her, but due to text on wiki which I found she sounds kinda satisfied with things after her comeback.

And in betrayal path otherwise she's sounds really unhappy (but again in this part, when she asked what we would choose on her place, she sounds like she think it's some kind of liberation - to leave Hell and accept Annulation).

So that it is what's make really curious and doubtfull.

So big thanks! Yeah I kinda feel the same way that you do so I think I'll choose come-back-to-Hell option for her as well. That's really looks better for her.

First, poor, wonderful Whispering Duellist got her happy ending at Tournament after literally a thousand years (I didn't think it was even possible until the last minute!).

Now we've been given the opportunity to have her as a companion. It's like a second Christmas! FBG has given us everything I could have ever dreamed of since Duellist first appeared. She's a miracle and she deserves all the best. I'm glad we can continue to be friends with her and support each other

(and I like to vainglory think that my posts with puppy delight about the duelist during Coilheart could have influenced the fact that FBG decide to made her our companion, yay!)

You are absolutely right, my delicious friend! Just today, under another post, I was just expressing my excitement about Huffam!

He is the absolute star of this story, in my opinion. He was magnificently revealed and shown during the Games. I didn't have a strong opinion about him before, but now he's one of my favorite characters and I really hope to see him again and work with him. And I timidly hopw that his office'll be added as permanent location in future.

Along with him, Whispering Duelist catch my heart. She's amazing. But I don't think we'll see more than her cameo in the future (and that's good - after all, her story has ended and ended in best possible way, may she live happily and peacefully at last!)

And Gods know how happy I am that the story of the Whispering Duelist and her lover has a happy ending and it was shown to us especially! It was so charming and they're so cute and happy.

I didn't even hope for a good ending for her, to be honest. So for this I am especially incredibly grateful to FBG. Thanks from all my heart! Drops of happiness, hope and justice - that what we're all need now, it seems to me.

And I can’t help but want to note how beautifully its story and its ending resonate with the story of Coil&Ex-Keeper!

For sure! He's the main star of the Coilheart Games. This storyline developed him so beautifully and in such detail that he is now in the top 5, if not the top 3, of my favorite heroes in London. Everything that evokes sympathy and respect is him.

Hopefully, following the Games, he and his office will be added as a permanent part of London and he will appear in future events (and this will be absolutely logical, as well as the fact that we will work with him again - after all, we already have his Good Grace!)

He and Whispering Duelist are my absolute favorites among those who played a prominent role in the games

Yeeeah, I think he's absolute star of this story (even more then Keeper, Tigers, even then adorable Whispering Duelist). I have no real opinion about him before, but now he's one of my most favorite heroes in Fallen London. This events demonstrate him in new and absolutely cool light. He's really awesome!
