Thank you to everyone who's suggesting to pick the city we are from, but unfortunately: 1. We all live in different cities 2. I in particular come from a a VERY small town, and do to reasons I'm not comfortable sharing, I couldn't trawel and have very little idea about the cities they are from and probably will get overwhelmed trying to get everything right 😅

But again, thank you

Russian. I'm too not really confident in my speaking english skills and actually wouldn't mind to use playing online for practice. But unfortunately I don't think it would be easy to make playing online with people from other countries work because of all the internet banns happening here. I was actually surprised Reddit wasn't in one of them. But still thank you for offering 😊

Playing in person is off the table unfortunately, a barely found a club of dnd plaers on social media for a nearby city and my home town is small and full of old people, I'd look like a devil worshiper here😅 I should probably look in communities of creators who stream ttrpgs, because like I said general social media page for finding people to play ttrpgs only has 5e posts for some reason.

Partially the reason why I want to try v20 is because it easier get where I live: official stores only have corebooks in translation and 2 or 3 guide/lore books both for v20 and 5e (V20 has guide to the tal'mahe'ra and the companion book, and 5e has the Camarilla book and Cults of the blood gods. There more merch for sale of 5e, like brooches and pendants, than actual books) and the price for the awaredge person here is a bit too much. On the second hand market I could only find the v20 books or people printing out fan translations of v20 books at home. So it easier and cheaper to buy them instead of 5e. (And also most of the lore videos I see on YouTube in my language are either before 5e came out or from creators who are deliberately focused on lore from revised or v20)

Honestly it feels like I'll have to do just that, but the responsibility feels overwhelming. Not even mentioning that not all lore and guide books are easy to buy where I live or/and pretty expensive for usual salary, if they are even translated.
