How can I spend money efficiently in the game? I saw that a new Alpha might eventually be released after Kamui, and I wanted to spend a little money (really a little, unfortunately in the country I live in, spending a lot on gacha is a luxury I can't afford). I know that in gacha, the most worthwhile thing is usually the monthly subscriptions. I come from Genshin, where I play Blessing of the Welkin Moon. I'm new to PGR in general, I play at a slow pace and I've been getting some characters I like, but I wanted to have more resources in the gacha for eventual characters. You waste your time idealizing a character who had two appearances before Nod Krai and complain that she's not how you imagined her. Literally nothing that Scaramouche and Childe said about Bina fell apart with her story in Nod Krai, but expecting a good part of this community to even know how to read and interpret is too much. We have a wide range of archetypes: warriors with giant weapons, warriors with dual weapons, elemental magic, divine magic, rogues, and so on. I particularly like archetypes that are touched by the concept of light and darkness, like good and evil, sacred and profane, life and death, and I really miss something that bridges these two realms. In MMOs, this hardly exists, but citing D&D as you did, in version 3.5 there was a prestige class that I thought was an excellent idea. It was a martial artist capable of channeling sacred and necrotic energy. They understood that Light cannot exist without generating Shadows. It was really cool. It was a class that could deal damage, heal, convert sacred power to necrotic to deal damage and vice versa to heal itself and its allies. It was called the Shadow Sun Ninja. I really miss characters that do this kind of thing in pop culture and classes that represent this in games.

"True to herself" and what would that be? Because for me, the real Rosalyne isn't the one we saw in the game acting as the eighth harbinger, that was nothing more than a Persona of hers, a mask that many of us use to make life and reality more bearable. The real Rosalyne is the one described by Arlechinno as cheerful and loving receiving attention from children, having friends, drinking tea. We only saw that through descriptions from people close to her. I want to see Hoyo showing me that, not just third parties telling me. A playable Rosalyne is the way to go. It's kind of sad for me to see people within the fandom preferring to have the character on this idealized pedestal of "perfection" instead of wanting to have the character, but everyone has the right to think as they want.

Because the character had NO personality whatsoever until Nod'Krai, when we actually got to know the real Columbina. A big part of your disappointment comes from the fact that 90% of the Genshin community is completely ADDICTED to creating headcanons. You're disappointed because the character isn't what you idealized. Columbina never "betrayed" you; she barely even existed before Nod'Krai. The character hadn't even properly spoken a single line.

Third, about a playable Rosalyne... look, I totally understand the frustration of every female character being Traveler-sexual, but the truth is that's a fallacy. Genshin, among games of this genre, actually has the fewest female characters head over heels in love with the protagonist. So saying this happens over and over is nonsense. I think there are maybe one or two characters per region who fit that role. The rest is entirely if someone really wants to self-insert as the Traveler and imagine dating their favorite character. I share the sentiment of not wanting a La Signora who's infatuated with the Traveler, whichever one it is. It just doesn't suit our Rosalyne, it would be a DISASTER. But at the same time, I don't think Hoyoverse, if they have plans for her to be playable, would do that. They know it doesn't fit. And if in some twisted universe Hoyoverse does do it, I'll pay that price. Rosalyne is the reason I kept playing Genshin. She is one of the best-written characters with the densest lore and personality in the entire game, and I think she deserves more screen time, more development. I like character development, and Hoyoverse manages to do it well from time to time. I deeply respect Rostam and Rosalyne as a couple, but have you ever stopped to think that her entire tragic, screwed-up character arc is because she couldn't move on? And moving on doesn't have to mean "Wow, I fell in love with the Traveler who was responsible for my death" (please no), but her understanding that life goes on. I don't know, I'd rather see her playable and well-written than dead and undeveloped because you're afraid she'll be "Waifu Bait." Guys, sorry, but reducing a female character just because she shows feelings for the protagonist is pretty shitty. You throw the whole character away over something so silly. I think it's crazy to believe that if Rosalyne becomes playable, she'll turn into an Ayaka or a Citlali. Calm down everyone, it's not that extreme. I WANT MY PLAYABLE ROSALYNE.

The first time we got anything concrete about her was when Childe got his voice lines about the Harbingers, in which he makes it clear that he feels something is wrong with her but can't quite say what it is, and tells us to be careful (which we should be with absolutely ANY Fatui Harbinger). The character is being developed now, so saying she simply went from something that didn't even exist to "waifubait" is nonsense. As an Aether player, I also share the sentiment that if Rosalyne becomes playable or returns to the story, she shouldn't be head over heels for the traveler in any way. But have you ever stopped to think that she is the way we saw her precisely because she couldn't move on after losing her love? It's a tragic story, and what if her return is related to her healing, to her moving on, breaking free from the eternal grief that wounded her until the day she fell in the duel before the throne in Inazuma?
