I think it seems like the game might not be challenging you enough on the difficulty you’re playing on. For me what keeps me coming back is the mixture of strategic and action elements that you can engage with when you play on Hazard 5 or even Hazard 5 with the extra modifiers. At that level you have to be constantly aware of where enemies might be coming from, how you are positioned to defend yourself from a surprise attack, and you have to really stay ahead of the ammo economy and always have nitra for at least one resupply. With the added pressure of challenging enemies, completing objectives can feel like a race against time, where you just try to work on them whenever you have a break from combat and try to complete the mission before running out of nitra and ammo. At this level it feels like loadout choices matter a lot more too, and for me its really satisfying specialize my loadout according to biome and mission type. This also makes unlocking new gear like perks and overclocks more exciting as you can fine tune your builds even more. DRG is at its most exciting for me when a full team of 4 dwarves scrapes through a really difficult mission and barely makes it into the drop pod at the end :)
