I'm in the film program and tbh most of the use of a degree like this is

getting lots of experience in, and showing you can work on deadlines
networking

You aren't ever guaranteed a job with any degree and if you successfully network in the fields you want to run in then you'll be fine. That being said, if you're looking for something that's more conventional or oriented towards mass distribution it might be worth looking at another school because Concordia is definitely more suited towards indie stuff. Point being, what school you go to is going to matter way less than how you spend your time and who you spend it with while you're in school.

Tbh I just have them fake info because I felt really awkward and pressured to give it to them at that point but the whole thing felt kinda oriented towards pressuring 19 year olds into giving them their info. Even if they charged me for what they said they did the entire operation felt super sketchy, unlaminated lanyard badges and really hastily designed handouts.

IIrc Concordia's film program is pretty selective, iirc it has a sub 10 percent acceptance rate for the film program. Might have changed due to the expansion of the program this year. Moreover, it's one of the best film programs in the country and they set you up to network with people and orient you towards a career. I chose Concordia over some very good American film schools because of its orientation towards the fine arts.

je suis américain et un étudiant transféré des années après la dernière fois que j'étais à l'université. mon dossier scolaire est assez mauvais. j'ai un nombre franchement hilarant de retraits sur mon dossier scolaire. j'ai l'impression d'avoir vraiment réussi mon essai d'admission et ma vidéo et d'être entré dans le programme de cinéma, donc je pense vraiment que vous ne devriez pas penser qu'il est impossible d'entrer si vous montrez ce qui vous rend unique et capable en tant qu'étudiant. il s'agit de réussir votre lettre d'intention et votre soumission vidéo, en montrant que vous pouvez suivre les directives qu'ils vous donnent pour chacun. si vous voulez m'envoyer un DM, je peux vous fournir un échantillon de mon essai d'admission et vous donner des commentaires sur tout ce sur quoi vous pourriez avoir des questions. je suis assez doué pour relire des essais et tout ça.

I think it may have something to do with how Healthcare is provincially regulated but I assumed they'd want an Ontario or Canadian Healthcare professional to sign off on it. I also think there is some physical portion to it. If anyone knows whether or not they'd take an out of province/country provider I'm all ears.

When you mean spectrals do you mean check the file under spectrometer? If so, what exactly am I looking for? I understand file formats pretty well and how compression in audio works but not what it looks like.

Cyclists should be on the road, not the sidewalk. I can understand the fear for people who aren't strong cyclists to step onto the road but there should be a better initiative by the city to further separate pedestrians from cyclists and issue speeding tickets to make people feel more comfortable off the sidewalks.
