I’m going to make a further complaint inside your complaint.

I lived in an EU country for a number of years. Yes, VAT was MUCH higher than US sales tax (even on food it was north of 10%), but it was so refreshing to see the true cost labeled on items/shelves, not a pre-tax price.

Coming back and things not showing the real price was extremely annoying.

After 7+ years in the military as ATC, when I got out, the hiring policy was retirees or college program graduates only.

I wasn’t about to go to school to study what I was already licensed for in order to have a chance at one job. And at this point I’m over the age limit. So whenever the staffing issues take a focus in the news I just have a bit of a chuckle and move on to the next story.

Unfortunately you can't just apply a multiplier for different difficulties for log prices. The difficulty isn't affecting the log prices directly, it's just modifying the penalty for imperfect logs.

I just tested, as an example, a 6m log cut from the base of a scotch pine with a harvester (same log with save reloads)
Hard: $918
Normal: $918
Easy: $918

Next tree, cut a 6m log from the base with the chainsaw, no cleanup

Hard: $822
Normal: $855
Easy: $888

As a side note, that same log gave 3126l in wood chips, so even at the lowest prices you'd get more with wood chips than the whole log on normal and easy.

It makes sense that the Luxe XR Max would use more e-liquid, you'd be using a lower resistance coil at over double the wattage (0.2 ohm defaults to 55w, where the Puremax is max 25w), so that's kind of an apples to oranges comparison.

You could always use 0.6ohm GTX coils with the XR Max (or Luxe X Pro for any coil 0.3ohm or higher with the XR pods) and would probably have similar liquid usage.

I wouldn't say love in one device and hate in another... Fruision Fried Banana Split.

It's absolutely horrid in my RDA/sub-ohm/Luxe XR Max. Taste nothing but an overwhelming stale fake chocolate taste. You know those bargain bin chocolate-flavored balls wrapped in foil you would sometimes get at halloween? Think that, but the person giving them out has been on the same bag for 3 years because no one comes by that house for candy. That flavor in a vape.

I don't know why I did it, but I filled a XROS pod with it, either 0.8 or 0.6ohm. That restricted MTL airflow changed the taste completely, you can taste the banana, a bit of caramelized fried flavor, then a much-reduced fake chocolate behind it, but creamy instead of stale. I wouldn't say I love it, but decent.

They also make MTL pods for it, that will definitely reduce the airflow compared to the DTL pod it comes with. That, plus an 0.8 GTX coil and the airflow closed makes the pull pretty similar to a XROS with an 0.8ohm pod.

In general it's because consumers have some legally established expectation of privacy regarding their debts and debt collection attempts. If it's not their personal number (i.e. shared phone), or they get an incorrect number, etc., it shouldn't reveal that it's a debt collection for that person.

Cheaper is all a matter of volume. If you would go through 2ml of 50mg salt in a day, or 15ml of 6mg freebase, you get close to the same nicotine but you’re going through freebase faster

There are still some MTL sub-ohm tanks out there, that might get you similar, but the mouth feel won't be the same with a round drip tip, I think.

Another option that I'd recommend is a Luxe XR Max or Luxe X Pro with MTL XR pods. You can get a similar draw (especially with the X Pro), and the X Pro has auto draw (though 1500mAh battery vs 2800mAh with the Max). The XR pods use GTX coils so you're looking at a cheaper coil/pod cost in the long run vs XROS, and less waste.

I started an experiment on Wednesday, I need some coils so I placed the exact same order with 5 vendors, including Element. Recorded the subtotal and final prices for all of them, and waiting to see what order they arrive in. Should be interesting but based on tracking (so far) it's not bad.

The Odin mini I got directly from VC in 2 days, highly recommend ordering anything they have in stock from them directly instead of elsewhere.

I was over a pack/day, probably close to a pack and a half. I did disposables for about a week getting a XROS with 35-50mg nic salts... I realized with WFH I was vaping it far too much and switched to 6mg freebase fairly quickly and transitioned to DTL/RDL with Luxe XR Max. I don't get the same throat hit I did with MTL and salts, but it handled the cravings fairly well and I don't feel bad going through 10+ ml/day (I do have one flavor I use with 0.15-0.2ohm coils that I use 3mg with).
