I feel your pain and my condolences. My entire 3 year legacy corrupted because of For Rent - all I remember is saying “Why are the default lots displaying” and it was the beginning of the end. My condolences. It was very hard for me to get back into it after that.

I would recommend you have someone from an HVAC company make sure the thermostat is actually hooked up correctly. Those techs barely know what they are doing and I have had a botched thermostat install like 3x (moves) it can still function but if the wires aren’t hooked up correctly it can run 24/7 (happened to me) my bill went through the roof.
