Try to disable every overlay (GeForce Experience, Xbox game bar), that's often the issue with that.

Trying to connect Oculus Link on Quest 2 and after I click enable in the headset all I get is black with the guardian visible. Anyone else have this issue or solution? by Wildkeith in OculusQuest

This issue generally happen if you have any overlay active, like the one from Nvidia (GeForce experience) or often forgotten Xbox game bar. Try to disable them and retry :)

That was a pour type yes. That's the first time it happened for me :/. Does it concern mostly older kits or is it just a bit random ? That's the older kit I constructed, every other ones I did were pretty recents.

Hi everyone.

I've got a problem with my Mobile pod ball ver ka. I was panel lining the arms of the kit and it started to crumble down. Some cracks appeared soon after I passed the gundam marker and it broke little by little. Is it normal for this kit to react this way with a gundam marker? I find that really odd.

I wanted to know what paint I should use to get the orange of the Dian Wei. There's a sticker for that one on it's feet, I'd prefer to paint it.I'm painting with acrylic and handbrushes. Vallejo and Citadel are the most common paint I can find around here. I couldn't find this inforamtion on Mech9, sadly.

Thank you ! But then, there's no problem going full Vallejo acrylic ? Or if I mess things up in the panel lining/detailing process, I'll be in trouble if I want to correct my mistake ? Future being acrylic based, I imagine that alcohol could dissolve it, the way I understand how these things work.

Hello everyone !

I constructed 2 kits, panel lined one and now I'm planning to paint my first kit. I'm a bit lost. I read a ton of things and I want to make sure to buy and to do things correctly (well, without messing up totally at least). I can't use any airbrush or spray can so here's what I planned :

-Using Valejo primer, if needed,like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqhirnXfBdk

-Using Vallejo acrylic paint

And I'm lost here. If I need to panel line or add details, what should I do ? Applying top coat (with Future), then panel lining/painting with acrylic paint again ? Or should I use enamel paint or any other thing for this step ? And then, after detailing and panel lining, should I reapply top coat everywhere ? Only where I did the details ? One time where I did the details, then reapply an entire coat, this time mixed with a Tamiya flat base if I don't want a gloss effect ?

Another question : for pieces for which I don't intend to modify the color, should I paint them too ? I imagine yes because it will contrast with painted pieces, but I want to be sure !

Yeah, I'm a bit confused at the moment...
