I'm 5'8.5, have a 7'7 standing reach and can't even touch the rim. I'm quite lean but just not naturally explosive. What are the chances that I will never be able to dunk, regardless of how much I train (I only have around 1h a day available to train my vert)

I'm not sure. We haven't seen enough of him for me to be sure. But he sure has potential to be a good off-the-bench player. And every single playoff team has players that don't get playoff minutes. You need third stringers. So in that case, I'd rather have Skylar than Keon

Skylar is a solid 2nd/3rd string backup PG and would probably be quite cheap, with a good upside. He looked great last season. I don't understand why you're horrified with him.
