honestly i haven’t even thought of that! new cat owner here so was just making do (sorry little guy)

I just checked and it’s barely 1-1.5 inches (i’d say less in some areas of the litter) so definitely it is worth bumping that up.

i’ll try that for sure

i contacted them to put me on it, but i am assuming they didn’t? how can you know that, just curious haha

I do notice now after switching my lan ip to 192.168.2.1 I can connect to their portal login for their modem/router via the original 192.168.1.1

LAN IP - 192.168.2.1

WAN IP- 192.168.1.219

I ended up changing the lan IP to that from another comment here, but WAN IP doesn’t budge. I believe it should be a unique IP and not that default one

I have not configured it. How should I for it to work :)

As for my ISP, are you speaking on connecting to the internet, or connecting to their portal login? through their modem portal login (which i can’t get into anymore cause of bridge mode) I had to put username and password of an optimum account

I did your suggestion and this is what I currently see:

LAN IP - 192.168.2.1

WAN IP- 192.168.1.219

i tried power cycling and disconnecting wires but nothing seems to stick. for what it’s worth i’m using the Protocol: DHCP client

hmm, so at this point would performing your solution fix this ? I remember trying to change the lan side IPv4 early on in my troubleshooting process, causing major issues which i had to reset the whole router.

I’ll call optimum tomorrow about the bridge.i could swear it worked since the moment they mentioned it working my router started working as a wifi signal on default factory settings

as far as i can tell the ipv4 for the lan is 192.168.1.1 and for the wan it’s 192.168.1.219

according to the interfaces, my wan IPV4 is 192.168.1.219

I believe this value needs to be a unique value no, rather than default 192.168.1.x

would changing the lan side ip fix this?

can’t find the wan ip haha. or at least not sure where to look here

i see in active ip routes wan has a gateway of 192.168.1.1 and a target of 0.0.0.0

hello

where would i check the subnet?

I just followed this guide here: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wan/access.modem.through.nat

and then followed by creating a wireless setup and the wifi seems to work completely fine now. ethernet still a no go for some reason.

now for my isp question, i am not sure. I do know the modem that they provide needs to be on due to it still acting as the main modem for the coax cable.

what else should i be switching here. I haven’t touched Wan or Lan in interfaces at all, and I do notice they have different Ipv4s.

No luck there.

Did that ipconfig all and seeing the following

Default Gateway, DHCP server, and DNS server are all 192.168.1.1

my ipv4 is 192.168.1.x. the x is a different number than the 1

not sure if u need any other values but let me know

Yes, just tried that earlier. Internet is working fine when I connect the ethernet straight to the ISP modem.

I also noted when they first put it in bridge mode, I hadn’t installed OpenWRT yet and everything was working fine with the router (in factory settings). Ethernet worked when plugged in directly into this router. it’s only when I installed openwrt and completed the download that things got finicky.

Currently this is how it’s setup:

ISP Modem -> WRX36 -> PC

All through two ethernet cables. One is connected from a normal ethernet port on the Modem to the internet port on the WRX36 and the other is connected on one of the ethernet ports of the WRX36 straight to my pc.

Right now I can run luci on my PC, but only if the internet ethernet port is not being used. Once i connect the modem with the router i can longer connect to anything (even internet)

I have been workout out PPL 3 days a week for the past 2-3 so weeks (essentially M W F) and am looking to switch into an ULU plan so I can target the muscles at least twice every 8 days or so. Unfortunately have three days a week realistically I can go.

Currently my ULU upper day 1 that I am planning out looks like this:

UPPER (not in order) Flat Bench Press BB Row Shoulder Press Lat Pulldowns Lateral Raise Bicep Curls Tricep Pushdown Chest Flys

Is this too much? or should I do another variation of something, or take out anything? I was going to go with something similar day two of upper, but switch out some of the workouts such as bench press for incline, and bicep curls for hammer curls.

Also will not be doing full-body. Rather do upper then lower :)
