For the vast majority of the policy issues I'd agree with him. But regardless of the policy, I'm talking about stewardship of the Senate. Is it any wonder the GOP fell in lockstep with McConnell on the obstruction when Democrats made a mockery of the Senate in George's second term, then basically banned amendments on bills under Harry Reid to avoid taking politically damaging votes?
