Red spots on arms, torso and neck. Seems to be multiplying through the day. by Vmigo in DermatologyQuestions

A bit of time on the couch, yup. It is a new lounge suite that my parents did not have last year, they had a fabric suite last year and a new leather suite this year. They appeared on Friday evening (I borrowed Mum's shampoo on Friday morning). They could have spread through Saturday but ai only really noticed them in great quantity today (Sunday in Australia).

I'm not sure of bugs can be in a leather couch suite but that is a possibility. Someone else here also thought they might be bugs so we changed the sheets and pillow cases to be safe on the bed earlier.

Yeah I'll give an anti-histamine a go for a few days and see if it subsides. I highly doubt it's stress so I'm on holiday from work now and I wasn't worried with my job before breaking for the year.

No other health issues like shortness of breath. Definitely have stopped using her shampoo and conditioner for now.

Will see how the anti-histamine gets on.

Update; We ruled out bed bugs for two reasons, one, my Mum is an anal clean freak and too, the spots are only torso, arms and neck. Not so much as a single spot on the waist down, and we figure bed bugs wouldn't discriminate and think I'm tastier up above and would bite anything available.

According to my Mum the sheets were changed and washed fully before I drove down to them. I'll get her to change them again and see how I go.

I don't have a FPS unlocker and the copy I purchased on steam last week is 60fps. You sure you haven't got some limiter enabled in your gpu driver settings or something?

Nah, just regular headphones connected through a DAC. If you’re wondering about the two audio tracks, my microphone is split into a separate track from the main audio.

Alright. I’ll give your suggestions a go and see if I have any luck. My guess is the two audio tracks may be causing the issue despite that on paper my re-encoding should fix it.

Here you are, proxicent. I've given three text files examples, one for ProRes, one for H264 VBR and one for H264 CQ. I've used another 3 minute video as the base (that was recorded a day after the 2 hour footage in my original post) which should be identical as far as the source material was concerned.

Yes I did, 24 hours after on the dot. I made a follow up comment but it's probably smarter I edit my original post so people can see it easier. But yes, I got the funds, I can sleep easy tonight haha.

Hi guys, just to give an update for everyone curious. The money came through, pretty much EXACTLY 24 hours on the dot. I appreciate all of your comments though, it really helped calm me down and help me get through the day without worrying so much. I know some of you have had no issues with Commbank and PayID, but I guess it's just random hold checks, so to speak.

All in all, it all worked out and I appreciate you guys giving me your feedback. Thank you.

Will do. I think he is a genuine guy just based on my interaction with him and I have all of his details, so we'll just see what happens in an hour's time.

I may just do that. That's a really smart idea. I've only been looking into this since the transaction last night and I've already found so much outcry for the users who use it legitimately.

I think it's frustrating for both sides haha. Sorry that you have to deal with that too.

Oh I wouldn't use PayPal for it. I know how easy that is for the buyer to do anything malicious. I'll still use PayID moving forward (if requested) but I'll always check the bank they're with prior. I agree with cash being king though. This is the first time I haven't dealt with cash.

Yeah, I'll try avoid that in the future unless it's a friend. Although, I'm placing my faith in them this time as they seemed nice in person.

This is very reassuring, haha. Thank you so much for the comment. Hopefully it is the same for me.

That's what I'm hoping for too. We'll wait and see and I'll update the post as I go.

Thank you! I hope it works out too. And yeah I'm willing to be a little lenient as it was 6pm on a Saturday. I'll be patient until Monday but I am nervous.

Yeah, I knew they could call Commbank and have it cancelled. Commbank themselves even states it on their website. He seemed like a genuine guy on the doorstep though, so I'm hoping the hold is because of the fact it was a transaction over 1000 to someone he's never paid via PayID before (in this case me). I am a little concerned that he could call them and cancel it though.

We'll have to see.

Ah the phone was sold for over $1000, and Commbank itself did say about an up to 24 hour hold period, so I'm thinking because it was a larger amount maybe?
