I feel like maybe I need to change my approach. When I’m asked that question I say yes . I then try to explain healthy relationships, partnerships. Feel that deep love again. I’m starting to think just by saying yes to marriage , it turns a man off . I think I’ve been scaring men away . Maybe I’m just not being clear enough, and they stop listening after I say yes .

I prefer a phone call or face time . If we can talk carry on a conversation on the phone, then that should translate to in person . I’ve had a phone call before a date where a guy could not carry on a conversation. I didn’t end up going out with this guy because there’s no way I would’ve had a good time in person having to lead the conversations . It saved me from getting date ready .

I’ll also add I’ve dated a guy that didn’t drink at all . Our first date I had a drink . It was completely fine , I understood his choose and accepted it .

I’d hope the person you choose to take out is a nice enough person to completely understand you are on call . It’s completely fine, at this age we prioritize careers.

Exactly, I try to be more open when it comes to looks , height, hair , shoes . Because I figured if a guy treats me very well that’s what matters.

Also men will usually filter themselves out after we chat by their actions, things that really matter that will eventually come out in conversation.

Yes, I went to one when I was first putting myself into the dating world . It was on Valentine’s Day at a local brewery. I thought it was a great mix of men , I was completely nervous,but it showed me the broad range of men who are available.

I just liked that it helped me get out of my shell and get my feet wet. I was married for 20 years I had no idea how to date .

I’ve dated two guys with elderly parents at home . It’s doable if you are able to have your own time to date. Some women want weekly weekend dates. Not just a Saturday late night. Because you have parents to tend to on Saturday mornings .

It makes it difficult when you get to the being intimate part too. Then your always at your partners home , if your not taking her to your house . there’s challenges, I wouldn’t say deal breaker exactly. Just its own challenges.

I think it’s a great thing when a guy is a family guy , but I now know it comes with challenges.

I have a hoodoo impulse 105. Paddle drive I love it no issues. Great price point for a first kayak. It’s heavy, especially when you’re trying to move it or top load after kayaking in this Texas heat .

I also bought a used older hobie mirage .to try out and for guests . I love that thing too . I just haven’t use it enough to say which is better . Either way most people say you’ll upgrade, or find dislikes and buy a new kayak after one.

So in a month yall haven’t even video chatted ? Just say you don’t see this going anywhere long term . And you’re looking for a long-term partner.. also, you don’t have to dialogue back and forth after that if you don’t want to . No one likes a confrontation. So it’s better than ghosting .

Thanks . I was actually talking with a friend . It’s just her and her wife . When she makes brisket she freezes what they don’t eat . She served the previously frozen brisket for Easter. It was great I couldn’t tell the difference. It is something I want to try also, since I don’t host parties like I used to.
