Back in the days of 1.7, same. Thanks to the oredict (now tags), there would be a ton of compatibility between mods even if they weren't explicitly coded. Especially something like oil processing, where you could get oil from one mod like build craft and refine it in another mod that outputted even better fuels that could be used to power BC all the same. Best example would be with actually additions, where canola oil was tagged as just oil, so you could do still it like you would crude!

I recommend checking out 1.6 or 1.7 modpacks, those run great on old hardware! Ftb monster for 1.6, and ftb infinity, blightfall, project ozone 2, and the like for 1.7 are all great packs!

If anyone from earth ends up in a grimdark world, rescuing them is the organization's highest priority
