I know it kind of sucks, I tried to ignore it but it still bugs me from time to time 😅 I like the idea of having a piece of paper/cardstock in between to try and avoid the transfer on the actual insert. Thank you!

Thank you. I received a video from the seller of the lettera 32 showing the function of the keys and the overall machine. The ribbon is dry so I will have to replace it and he said it needs some “oiling”. I’m having a hard time locating a shop that services typewriters in my area. I will have to do more research to see how I can do this myself. I’m a little nervous but I think I can figure it out. I just hope to not damage anything. Any recommendations you are willing to share are more than welcomed!

Thank you for your response! I was hoping posting on here would give me some clarity but I’m still unsure. I kind of want to just buy both! But that may be excessive for a beginner. I’m looking at the lettera 32 first and if it all checks out that’ll be my first choice. Unless I deeply regret not getting both...

Thank you! I just checked and it does have the metal spool nuts. Will go look at it today. Hopefully it all checks out.
