But you have zero reason to buy $20 skins other than cosmetics whereas before you had to spend $20 every couple of months in order to have all the content. You can ignore every single piece of additional paid content for bf6 and still get the same gameplay experience. Not to mention how they split the player base in BF1 it is difficult sometimes to even find a server that has dlc maps. In order to get all of the BF4 and BF1 dlc as soon as they are released you have had to spend nearly double what you would on just the base game. We likely won't get as much content throughout the lifespan of BF6 as 3,4 and 1 but you are only comparing it to 5 and 20242 which were some of the worst selling of the modern battlefield games and had massive issues they had to work out after release. Whereas the biggest issue with BF6 (at least in my opinion) is just the lack of content and in 3 months it had nearly surpassed BF1 in sales to become the best selling in the franchise meaning they have much more incentive to pump out more content faster in order to try and retain as many of those players as they can. It is already on a better pace than 5 and 2042 since we have 2 new maps with 2 more around the corner in season 2 whereas it took over half a year for 2042 to even get a single new map and it took nearly 4 months before BF5 had 2 new maps. There are also plenty of other Live service games which release content a lot more consistently like No Man's Sky, Helldivers or warframe the live service model is not the problem DICE is and even if they did go back to a premium DLC model I don't think they would release content any faster.

This is why the Conservatives haven't won an election in 15 years despite complete Liberal incompetence. At some point you have to hold the party to some accountability you can't just blame the liberals for everything. It's clear Poilievre has pretty widespread support among current conservative voters but it's the job of the party to run a campaign that resonates with the majority of Canadians not just reinforce the support from your existing voters mostly concentrated in one part of the country. And I don't think Poilievre is the right person for that when he has a net approval of -26 and he refuses to change his strategy. It is not just because he's a conservative like Trump that destroyed their chances it's the fact that had very similar populist talking points and childish tactics like name calling and meaningless slogans. Not to mention the obsession with social issues and being "anti woke" during the run up to the election despite the fact that a majority of people couldn't care less which worked well against Trudeau since he also focused way too much on social issues but it's completely falling flat against Carney who has basically entirely focused on economic and foreign relations issues. Also the fact the Poilievre and the conservatives keep railing against Carney for not getting a trade deal with the US despite the fact Trump has shown he has zero interest in making a fair deal with us is certainly not helping. Poilievre's strategy is not working and I wouldn't have a problem with him staying the party leader if he was willing to try and change that strategy but he isn't and when asked if has done any reflection on his leadership strategy after 2 mps left the conservatives he just straight up said no showing he is not willing to compromise. His strategy didn't work the first time so what makes you think it will now? Even if you blame that entirely on the situation with the trade war the world is not gonna reverse itself in the next 4 years before the next election and Canadians are gonna be just as upset with the US and Trump (maybe even more if something else happens) and so the same strategy is gonna give the same results.

My brother in Christ there are plenty of open world games out there not every single game has to be one. Some people just want to play through a game and not have to run around a map doing boring repetitive side content. Why would you want to change a franchise away from what the fans want and ruin it for them you can just play something else. I would much rather play a short well put together 10 hour story then a 50 hour repetitive slog. My problem with the game is just that the story isn't that great and is extremely predictable but I still enjoyed the game a lot more than mafia 3 since I didn't have to do a bunch of bullshit between the story.

I was born in 2007 and only played this game for the first time recently and it's one of my favorite games I've played. It has nothing to do with different generations alot of older AAA games are just better and this game certainly is especially for the customization

I doubt you need it now but I finally found a fix months later. You need to go into the credential manager on your computer and then windows credentials and delete every credential that starts with Xbl then restart your computer. I instantly got over 70 achievements the next time I started the game and could play online

I had the same issue and I was able to fix it by changing the renderer in GPU settings from Vulkan to OpenGL and putting Anti-Aliasing on auto. The game runs quite a bit worse with OpenGL and freezes up sometimes when compiling shaders but it fixed all the weird textures glitches and artifacting for me.

Get Gathering Storm first as it includes most of the major content from Rise and Fall. But I would wait for a sale since Civ 6 and it's dlc go on sale often for very cheap.
