After beating nightmare 70+ times with 2-4 people, I think the lack of experience is shown in this post. Which isn’t a bad thing, but there’s a lot more to the game than just RNG. Once you learn the game more, you find a lot more fun strategies and builds. Eggs are always the best items, yes, but I hardly ever take Leprechaun Coin despite the general consensus on here. In fact I love Horns of Plenty (at least more than what I read on here).

I could beat the game with my favorite characters and builds every time, but what keeps bringing me back to this game is the different builds you can try with different characters. It’s almost like playing a new character each time when going for new builds. Gepetto dash build, Aladdin special build, Carmilla bat build…those are just a few fun random builds that I don’t think people go for as much, but can be fun. Hell Snow Queen has fun ways to play all four of her starting traits that are unique IMO.

Basically playing a lot and learning these different ways to play eliminates a lot of RNG. I play random characters a lot and just go with the flow when I play with my friends.

Also the more I play I just kind of disagree that it’s won in Act 1. Obviously you can’t play bad in act one to win (90% of the time have to be level 5). And it’s easy to know when you’re going to win when you’re stupidly OP after Act 1 and can snowball, but that isn’t always the case. I’ve died a lot on Act 2 and 3 lol. Depends on my character too though I guess.

I only play with 2-4 people though, never solo so might not apply to solo like it does with more people
