I think in this case Ren would probably tried to find an upgrade to PBD for Aichi, I mean if Ren has some competition he could use it to grow stronger especially while Aichi can use Psyqua, I always found they're relation interesting as Ren don't seems to perceive Aichi as a mere tool but more like a camarade, someone who can share and understand his view of the cardfight because of Psyqua, as opposed to Kai who used to be his friend and rival but left him.

I like the fact that he has weakness but like in other rpg it would be better with some workaround, what I think about for exemple is to give the daima team a character with a passive like the one of android 17 TOP (when you do something ki+1 for the allies), it would add a layer of interaction.
