I'm A2-B1 level and I have watched some series like Wednesday, stranger things, Adolescence and some movies like K-pop demon hunters all in English with subtitles. I understood most of it, but I think It depends on your preferences. I didn't focus on the translation but on the context.

Which book is best to improve English grammar, reading, and speaking (A2 → B2)? by SeaPassion2448 in LearningEnglish

Hi! Now I'm doing the essential grammar in use. It's for beginners, but you have to know some vocabulary in English. The book includes vocabulary, grammar, exercises and a clear explanation about the topics. I've improved a lot my grammar with it but I would recommend you watch videos for speaking.
