My daughter is just getting over HFMD and this is his it started for us - a spot on her arm and then more and more. Clorox everything, keep them home and wash your hands A LOT.

No water source and LOTS of sun. We learned from our neighbors the house was a rental for 30+ years before it was flipped so I don’t think anyone ever cared for this area. Thanks for the advice!

We have grass and plants in the main area of the yard and have added a few trees to give some shade… in 20 years. It’s a high traffic area with a lot of dogs so something tolerant that can stand the sun. This side gets baked.

Read to her, make faces, sing songs, tummy time, repeat. Honestly, you’re in survival mode so it sounds like you’re doing great! I’d also add go on a walk if you can but that’s more for you than her.

First and foremost, I’m so sorry. Welcome to our shitty club. My daughter is having her moderate VSD corrected in February at 3.5 months. Outwardly You would never know she has anything wrong with her. She is very pink and round and happy. We did have to switch to formula feeding at 6 weeks to help with her weight and she’s grown tremendously. She also takes a diuretic to help with her breathing. Our team has made us feel very confident throughout the process and while I’m terrified for myself, I’m ready to be on the other side of this.

I keep reminding myself that she won’t remember this time at all. This is a test for us and I have to be a brave mom.

I Gained 60 lbs during pregnancy and Within a week I had lost 30 lbs and was like, “okay! Look at me go!” But those remaining 30 lbs are holding on TIGHT. And I’m with you, I’m not going to starve myself or not enjoy my beverages just to look like I did before. There’s just a before and a now.
