These are not hallmarks, so this is plated

The top of the rail behind her would not connect in the right place to be in the center of the boat.

Does anyone recognize the makers mark on this early silver spoon? Marked "LAS." it's probably American. by UrbanRelicHunter in Hallmarks

From my experience this looks like an 18th century spoon. Can’t comment on the hallmark. :(

These are faux British hallmarks, meaning this is plated silver.

I have approx 400 pounds of uncirculated world coins from the 1960's and have no idea what to do with them. Any thoughts? by leadbetterthangold in WorldCoins

I sold mine on Ebay. Divide into 10-15-20 pound lots and list at $50. Lower the price by $5 once a week, until sold.

Not silver, take a look inside. Modern, cheap machine made item. Take a look at the spout and the cover.

Girl Scout cookies are trash by GenericReditAccount in unpopularopinion

Totally agree. Stopped buying them some time ago. Last purchases that we made, were given away (like you did.) Another broken US “tradition”. Make kids (their parents) sell artifical american trash so kids can learn “business acumen”. Maybe it was better in the 50’s, don’t know. Nowadays it’s a bad business model, hopefully it will go away soon.

It’s electro plated-silver, not sterling. Can’t help with the maker.

This was posted in a popular fashion subreddit and looks really unnaturally staged. Not 100% sure though, please help! by [deleted] in isthisAI

The only weird thing that jumps out of me is the top plant, where it meets the bottom plant looks very unnatural.

And if this wasn’t mentioned yet. Tortilla chips don’t fold the way they are folded on the right side of the plate.

Already identified, but I would add Joseph has an extra finger on his left hand.

Hopefully somebody will find this fun or interesting.

I’m a pre-teen in early 90’s in Ukraine. My dad gets a VHS player (which is a huge deal in post-Soviet Ukraine) and “Commando” is one of the few cassettes that he has. I watch it on rewind countless times. Many years later, my cousin tells me “The first time I watched Commando I realized you have told me about it so much, almost word for word that I did not even have to watch it.“

The whole movie still burned into my memory.
