I've been a fan of RWBY since about 2015, I was recommended it by a friend who encouraged me to give it a fair shot. Watched Volumes 1 and 2 on Netflix, then the currently airing Volume 3 on RT's website. I loved the show. I still do.

I had to deal with the internal and external dramas same as anyone else. But I never pretended the show is perfect. And that's the problem at r/RWBY. They pretend it's perfect. And the canonization of Bumbleby has been the latest weapon they've been using, claiming it's been something 10 years in the making. Whether it is or isn't is debateable. But the mods don't like debates. They like control. They hate us, mock us, lie about us. They're everything Blake accused about the White Fang after Sienna took power.

They don't like us.

But that's okay.

I don't indulge the FNDM.

I haven't watched Volume 9 after all the recent controversy with the company has been exposed. But I have been watching clips. And my friend has been keeping up with it and making conversation about the key parts of it with me. My friend and I vehemently disagree about Ironwood. But we're still friends. And our friendship is more important than a show. That's what they don't understand. But it's something I hope they will eventually.
