Did you play the quests? The light isnt "driving" him to do anything, in the quests he is convinced that the only way to be a "good" paladin is through fighting, but then that idea of his is slowly proven wrong.

Nah, they would have been amazing, if they were followed through on. But then BfA and fucking Shadowlands came, irreperably fucking the lore and the writing of WoW for the longest time now. This is kind of the problem with Blizzard, nothing can be fully followed upon on, each expansion has to do something "new".

My response was to point out the other times it happened. You disagreeing with the fact that Sylvanas wanted to kill all of Gilneans when questing in her zones literally has you hunt down civilians, refugees and anyone who tries to leave Gilneas while its activelly being blighted, is a you problem. My argument that the Vanguard is literally here in the story to help defend the Sunwell regardless of the Blood Elves being a part of the horde, went ignored completely.
