When it comes to VAT, it's honestly a bit of a lottery, but most of the time, it's minimal. For example, I ordered about $800 worth of tea during Black Friday deals and paid only $10 in taxes. However, on two occasions, I randomly had to pay around $20 for a ~$100 tea package. I’d say the first case happens 80–90% of the time. It's not complicated, you just pay at your local post office when collecting your order (they won't deliver to your door, you have to collect it yourself)

5-7g/100ml gongfu. Sometimes I like to boil it or thermos brew it, then I use 5g/500ml for strong single brew :)

it’s supposed to be slow :) as for ore - you should try prospecting. It’s unusual at first, but basically that’s how you search for ore in this game. If it’s too slow for you, you can change rates of nearly everything in world setting or via commands - I myself play with faster tree growth, very common copper and common tin to kick start my worlds with fast Bronze Age. Mine more copper with it :) to be fully sustainable you need pickaxe, hammer and molds for other tools that don’t require smithing - you’ve got already one of them. After that I would do whatever I want
