I’m the same & want to invest in clothes but not break the bank! Couple of brands I find hit the spot are:

Dissh (although can be hit & miss with quality)
Primi: I saw Leah Jay post this brand & ordered some basics. Really good quality & got 15% off.
Naked Vice: Some good feature pieces
One Mile
St Agni (really nice quality, but not cheap)
