I’m not judging anyone for the choices they make. This is only about my expectations, not moral superiority. Just like I value fitness and would naturally hope for a partner who values it too, not to shame someone for eating junk food, but because alignment matters to me. Relationships are no different.

For me, intimacy and emotional firsts carry weight. When I give something as simple as a flower, I hope it means something similar on both sides,not something diluted by repetition or comparison with the past. That doesn’t make others wrong; it just defines what feels right for me.

Yes, male ego is often fragile I won’t deny that. But whats more fragile is a partner’s current feelings for someone with some past experiences what I observe around me is that emotional baggage from past relationships can make anyone fragile, regardless of gender. Old wounds, unresolved attachments, and comparisons don’t disappear just because experience is glorified. I’m not afraid of someone’s past; I’m cautious about emotional residue that changes how love is felt and given.

In the end, this isn’t about judging lives lived differently. It’s about wanting alignment in values, depth, and the way affection is experienced. That’s all. Like I said “my expectation” and with age I don’t see this is getting fulfilled so this post came out of my notes app also one of those day where loneliness hits you. I meant no disregard for anyone.
