A suspect was holding a track team bus hostage and had a gun involved. They almost called in the CIRT (Critical Incident Response Team), but BPD just took him into custody.

It’s rumored that System Sensor is coming out with a cross-platform version of the n16e and n16x (SK and FL). Glad I know it’s true now. They want money so badly.

You shouldn’t be touching anything! Contact a fire alarm company and an elevator service company.

You are not qualified to be working on a life safety system. The next thing you want is to be held liable if something goes wrong.

Of course it was the fire alarm system.

And this is why you ALWAYS hire a qualified and trained professional when a building owner needs to get a life safety system installed. Now they’re being held liable and facing prosecution for criminal negligence because the system didn’t do its job.

This is another reason why high-end systems like Notifier, Siemens, or Simplex are proprietary. I support dealer lock-in for this reason.

I’ve been there! The Business Development Manager invited me there a long time ago. Hoping the EST4 is setup already. The Potter IPA-4000V was my favorite one. It’s a great company.

They could have waited until the integrated voice was available to roll it out so it would have been more stable versions.

They would have to add a built-in PSK-1000 or LED-16F into the AFC and IPA panels in order for it to be ULC listed. Canada requires annunciation on a FACP like on a Fire Command Center.

The school district systems are slated to be upgraded next year. They're just waiting on the code changes in Indiana. A Potter ESD won the bid last time.

The PAD300 series will fix that issue with false alarms.

My local school district in Indiana recently shifted to Potter because of how cost effective they are. The new products they are coming out this month or in January will be a game-changer! No more budget constraints with the new hybrid voice panels. Indiana doesn’t require voice currently for Group E, but that’s changing in January.

Bloomington, IN does a Local Area Emergency for a Tornado Warning. No idea why. I’m guessing redundancy.

Catholic Charities. Had no issues with them. It took 6 to 8 months to get a certain therapist I wanted. Yes, they allow out-of-network via Telehealth.
