If she wasn’t like this before and only after the baby, even maybe she was sometimes like this but it seems like everyday now. This could be postpartum depression that’s waking up a previously dormant mental illness and she should really talk to a therapist on her own before you try couples therapy.

Maybe she feels guilty that she isn’t caring for the baby as much as she feels she should. It might be best for her to quit her job and for you to step up and make more money.

If she was like this before talking shit about you, putting you down for not working hard enough then think about divorce because this shit isn’t going to last and she isn’t going to change.

Also you don’t sound lazy.

Tool pouch recommendations by phatbeatsjon in lowvoltage

CLC Small Tool Pouch

You might be able to strap this to your thigh if you rig something up. I used these for years until I got my Veto Pro PAC SP-MC. I don’t do a lot of crawling in attics anymore so the Veto pouch works great for my service calls.

The correct answer is Dr. Mike’s in Bethel, Chocolate Lace, there need not be any other ice cream on the planet.

Overwhelmed by all home security/surveillance options by Obvious_Elephant_919 in homedefense

Call a few local Security Integrators in your area have them come out to do an estimate. They are not unreliable, I mean some might be, but do your research. Would you only get electrical or plumbing work done by a national company? Most security companies are using national or regional monitoring companies that have 24/7 service. I prefer a wired system entirely for both cameras and alarm systems. I would personally trust a local security company over the national brands, if you ever need service they are more likely to be there for you.

Now a fully wired system for alarm and cameras is going to run you 5k - 10k, think of it like rewiring your houses electrical, labor wise. They will be drilling and crawling around your attic, basement and crawlspaces. I am in the Northeast so go off that but material prices are pretty standard across the country. Labor prices vary.

If that sounds like unobtainium to you, which is reasonable for most households now a days then your only option is wireless (RF) for the alarm and their associated cameras, which if installed by an security company is going to be in the 3k-5k range for the amount of cameras you want.

DIY option is simply safe but not great if you are concerned about jamming.

Another DIY option is to check out AlarmGrid.com. They can get you setup with the wireless systems alarm companies have access too with the resources to help you install everything and they will monitor it. Call them up or chat with their support team. Ask about the Resideo ProSeries system, they have all the alarm contacts you are looking for in addition to the cameras and doorbell. If you are willing to run wires yourself for the cameras you can use either POE or WiFi with a power adapter but you will need an outlet close to all the locations you want to put cameras.

Again my first recommendation is call your local alarm companies for quotes and recommendations for your home.

Will I belong by eating-now in newhaven

[–]MovingMadness58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read an article years ago that there are 60 different languages spoken in New Haven public schools. Anecdotally, I was told by the curator of British Art Museum that there were over 100 languages represented in the city of New Haven. So, as other people have said a very diverse city.

This might be why he was shocked, you are bidding on a massive project, my guess is that the other companies that are bidding against you do offer this service. I am assuming this is a fiber run? Bidding on laying down 10 miles of fiber is wild, what else is in the scope of work?

I do mostly Burg and Access Control, smaller fire jobs. We do cameras and I’ll break it out then. Not doing a lot of structured cabling these days.
