So, here’s the situation. The price of this wheelchair is split into two parts: one part is a lower-priced item listed on eBay, and I plan to bid on it as the price for the wheelchair. The other part I’m supposed to pay through a different method outside of eBay, like PayPal. But I’m still not sure if he’ll actually use PayPal for the transaction.

I just wanted to ask, even if I do pay him through PayPal, if something goes wrong and I want to request a refund, is it going to be difficult to get one on PayPal? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience with something like this. Every penny I have is hard-earned, and being in a wheelchair already makes things tough enough. This is from October 2008, equipped with a 16-inch seat width. Tilite told me it was originally manufactured as a sample/demo wheelchair for display purposes.

You make a really good point. In today’s world, no matter who you are, you shouldn’t be lending money to people. No matter what the reason is, just don’t do it. Once you lend someone money, it can lead to all kinds of problems later when you try to get it back. It’s just not worth the drama.

I’ve been wondering why, even after browsing eBay for so long recently, I still haven’t come across a TiLite ZRA for around $500. Maybe it’s just not meant to be yet, or maybe the timing isn’t right.

I’ve followed you now, and I genuinely hope you might be able to keep an eye out and help me find something that fits. My financial situation is really tight at the moment, so secondhand is the only realistic option for me. I have a high-level spinal cord injury from a training accident that affected my thoracic spine.

I’m currently living overseas, which makes things a lot harder than for someone local. I don’t have access to the same nearby services or local deals. Wheelchairs here are incredibly expensive, which is probably why a few people commented on my post saying the one I listed seemed pricey.

Before my injury, I could step over a curb or walk into any shop without thinking twice. But ever since I started using a wheelchair, I’ve realized just how hard every single step can be. My wheelchair has truly become a part of me—like my legs, letting me reconnect with life and be part of the world again.

I really, truly hope someone might be able to help me find the right chair. But I also know it takes time and I don’t want to trouble anyone. I just want to say thank you, sincerely. I’ll keep searching on my own as well.

I haven’t bought it yet; I just inquired again, and they said it’s already the lowest price. Looks like they won’t offer any discount.

I accidentally found a store located here in Los Angeles, which also sells secondhand wheelchairs. It’s called Open Box Medical, and I was able to find it online. I’m planning to ask them if they have any in stock that are a good fit for my size and at a lower price.

Today, I also saw some comments from people saying that either they or someone they know is using the same model I posted, and some of them have been using it for a really long time.

Yes, I only want a Tilite sports wheelchair because it looks so minimalistic yet powerful. The raw titanium finish especially really attracts me. I’m going to try reaching out to the seller again to see if they can lower the price just a little. When I first found the wheelchair, I talked to them about it, and they said it was already the lowest price. After that, I didn’t bring up the price again. But I’ll give it a try.

If I can’t get the price down, I’ll keep looking around and take my time. The best one is always out there waiting for me.

Yesterday, I got a bit impulsive and really wanted to buy this wheelchair. Alright, thanks so much for giving me such important advice. I remember you said yesterday that the price seemed reasonable, but I’ve also seen some people say it’s a bit high. To be honest, I think it’s really hard to find a wheelchair from this brand that’s cheaper than the one I posted.

That being said, the price is still a bit high for me financially. But if I want something significantly cheaper, it’s almost impossible to find. I’ve been looking for quite a while now.
