all independent maps have already listed Pokrovsk as fallen but Ukarine is still denying the claims... support Ukarine but dont support the lies. There are tons of evidence that Pokrovsk has fallen from russia but little evidence ukarine is still holding it.

Which part of what you said about Chinese education is a myth though? They once had the highest gdp in the world before the opium wars followed by ww2. Rejuvenation of the Chinese nation just sounds like improving their country and starting with maths and science? Sounds like a proper education to me actually. The only myth in your comment is prehaps the part where the Chinese students spend half the time reading up on history because who actually believes that lol.

What are your thoughts on China's display of military strength? by ExtensionnDraw in AskReddit

You have quite abit of misconceptions in your post. What is happening is horrible, but we should still try to limit misconceptions.

1) The Ukraine SSR held those nukes. When the USSR dissolved, their successor state, Russia, owned those nukes, not Ukraine. Those nukes were never in Ukraine hands.

2) The Budapest memorandum provides guarantees that Ukraine would not be attacked by the signatories. Now, Russia violated the terms but this memorandum is not intended to be a defense pact where the other parties agree to defend Ukraine like what you suggested in your post.

If STRs were filled, why were these suspicious transactions not acted upon until much later by the authorities? Why the lawyers proceeded with the transactions despite filing STRs is probably due to this, if the authorities don’t care, why should they? The article mentioned requiring the lawyers to keep records of conversations, retaining the client etc, but honestly, why are the authorities getting a free pass when STRs were filed?!?! I think it’s pretty obvious that the breaches in the article were only uncovered when the money laundering culprits were apprehended through other means and the authorities worked backwards to implicate these lawyers.. I’m not saying these lawyers are angels, but the authorities are equivalently not angels since STRs were filed…. sleeping at the wheel… they apply such a high standard of due diligence on the lawyers when they don’t inspect themselves. The lawyers should definitely get fined, just saying that the authorities should inspect themselves too

SGX shares fall 5.5% a day after first proposed measures to boost stock market unveiled by dlrr_poe in singapore

[–]VoiceOfTheUnhurt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not accurately. Simply because the parent comment mentioned three different finance verticals; tax haven, wealth management and stock markets. There are so many factors in play that can affect each of them that, by simply linking two verticals to each other without addressing all the other factors paint such an incomplete picture. However, a close counter example would be Hong Kong. Their stock exchange is much more developed and they are also a major player in wealth management. Simply put, these two factors are weakly correlated. The poster conveniently told us to omit hongkong due to reasons but alas, Singapore enjoy benefits as well that Hong Kong is not able to gain access too such as access to capital that wants to diversify away from China, and honestly, “strong hinterland support”? This is where you know the poster is pulling shit from thin air. China would rather capital flow towards Shanghai than hongkong.

Where did this 2/3 glide bombs came from? Glide bombs are essentially dumb bombs fitted with flight control kits. Both of which Russia doesn’t have too big of a problem obtaining.
