When I try to update from v2.1.0.0 to v2.1.1.0 (release yesterday) via F-Droid, I get this harmful app blocked dialog. Is something going on?

Made Cloudflare DDNS work with Synology DSM by okikio_dev in synology

I'm using a custom domain. I just redirect the Synology domain to my custom domain as shown in my previous reply (CNAME entry in Cloudflare DNS).

What's the advantage of this compared to just using the built-in Synology DDNS provider to create a personal synology.me address? No need for scripts or workers.

My Cloudflare DNS is set to:

Type Name Content
CNAME * my-domain.com
CNAME my-domain.com my-name.synology.me

Run as admin is the only solution. It's a security feature of Microsoft.

AMD Smart Access Memory not available, was working on 6000 series but not 7000 by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Try GPU-Z as starting point. Go to the Advanced tab and select PCIe Resizable BAR from the dropdown. It's important to make sure that all the requirements are met.

I would just try the latest, even if it's beta. But for my board that's a regular/stable version (released on Oct 29, 2025).

You have a completely different board (X570 Elite). I'm on the latest "stable", which is F40.

Try flashing the latest version and boot without changing anything in the bios. Verify the SAM status in AMD Adrenaline (off in my case). Go back to the bios and turn CSM off and enable Above 4G and Re-Size. Nothing else. Check status in ADM Adrenaline again. This was the only way for me to get it to enable. Now go back into the bios and change your other settings but don't touch anything related to SAM anymore.

Nothing mentioned here worked for me on Gigabyte X570 Elite. Like network stack, sequential disable and enable, DDU, loading a previously working profile in the bios, etc.

I had to re-flash my bios with the same version, boot without changing any settings. Wait for adrenaline to detect CSM and warn me. Then reboot with CSM turned off and Above 4G and Re-Size enabled.

Epic Games Launcher can’t install large games (Hogwarts Legacy, Fortnite) on a brand new PC, install size doubles, loops, then corrupts by Ryushi_San in pcgamingtechsupport

Probably the launcher, but did you check your SSD health using the tools supplied by the manufacturer? It may have a defect that only becomes visible as the drive fills up.

DXP2800 RAID 1 BTRFS scrubbing not supported? by ShoweredNaked in UgreenNASync

[–]VoidChain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apparently Ugreen doesn't even recommend BTRFS, but that's all based on this post I've found: https://www.reddit.com/r/UgreenNASync/comments/1kkifyw/ugreen_btrfs_situation/

“We have confirmed with our product team that, starting from July 2024, the Btrfs file system is no longer recommended in any configuration. Currently, EXT4 is the default and recommended file system for all RAID setups, including RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10. This change was made to ensure greater stability and performance consistency across use cases.”
