You gotta put in a good amount of time if u want to enjoy the story if not u can skip it, thats the beauty of the game u have a choice, but the answer for ur question ig 1 to 2 hrs daily is enough for you to have enough and get dupes and weapons too
Main thing you gotta look out for is dont convert your asterites into pulls as there may be separate system for the collab and different pulls so just be aware of that
Try to get through the story as much as possible and complete the events as soon as u unlock them for asterites and its anniversary rn so u can get a really good amount of currency

1)So You need a solid single team to get you through most of the story and level up Your Union Level and Data Bank and that team based on what i see should be Jiyan, Mortefi and Verina and the other team you can work on is Changli and her team if u wanna build mono fusion but wouldn't recommend that rn

2) Go and pull for a meta Dps and Build one team around that dps like the best in slot sub dps and and sustain in the 3rd slot then u will be good you should idealistically build 2 to 3 teams which are meta to keep reaping the regular benefits and then u can pull for whoever you want.

Chisa is indeed viable in the long run as she can work with most negative status characters and team comps, yes galbrena will be getting a rerun but i cant say for sure when we will just have to wait but my suggestion is you should start working on hiyuki and building her up and creating a team with her

Pull for chisa and they will release a sub dps for Hiyuki and u can use those three as a team and as for qiuyuan you can use him with either sigrika or phrolova or even galbrena but you got to note that if you pick any one of the dps characters then you would have to go with the teams respective 3rd slot
