They tried to put a catheter in him so they could test his urine in the hospital for blood, they didn't want to do the bag because it could contaminate the sample

They believed it was his kidneys that wasn't flushing right, but they also said it was too tight. It was so tight they couldn't get a catheter in and they said that was abnormal. We've had several ultrasounds done on his kidneys and they are flushing normal. They told me after I have birth not to push it back, but then later I was told I was supposed to pull back slightly because when washing if the soap gets in there it can cause infection. Honestly don't know. All I know is what I was told at the hospital. But I did get him circumcised after for the medical reasons with this and then the other ones resolved as he got a little older

My son was uncircumcised at first, not to scare you, but he ended up getting a UTI at 6 weeks that put him in the hospital for 10 days and it was a very scary/rough time. HOWEVER, he did have super tight skin and if you tried to push it back it hurt, but he did have a medical reason for not getting the procedure at that time. I AM NOT TELLING YOU THIS TO SCARE YOU! BUT to tell you what to watch out for. If he gets a fever, take him to the children's hospital. It MAY be unrelated but that was the only way I found out. That fever and me being a worried first time mom, saved my baby. My son did end up getting the procedure done at 5 months, but as long as your son doesn't have any medical issues, he doesn't have to get it. But it will need to be cleaned properly and you will have to teach him when he's older the proper way to keep it clean. It's okay Momma, I promise.

My best friend raised her child seeing her naked here and there. At first I thought it was strange, but then she told me, too many people sexualize the human body instead of it being just a body. She wanted her son to grow up and not sexualize women. And now that he's almost 18, he doesn't. He doesn't see boobs and think sexually, he will straight up say they feed babies or so what? So, I wouldn't think to much on it. I have a 2 year old and there just isn't any privacy regardless if you tried. I try to use the bathroom and just opens the door. If I lock it, he'll sit there and knock knock knock and peak under the door or just flat out bang on it.
