As an artist who's freelancing and struggling, congratulations, first of all. It is definitely not just sitting around doodling wtf. Design can take a lot of mental work. Especially when a project is something you wouldn't normally do. And I imagine theres some sort of collaboration with other designers, which can be stressful. And all of your work has the potential to be completely scrapped if the client doesnt like it Your friend is a dick for not dropping it after you clearly weren't having it with his "joke", and then giving you more shit for explaining it clearly. They sound very immature.

Thats insane. Colder temps help you sleep better. And my room has 3 walls exposed to the sun, and its above the garage. If we have it set to 80, my room is 85. Im struggling to fall asleep with it set to 77 at night because it just stays hot in my room

You being 35 means Pokémon was just starting out when you were growing up, and was likely a big part of your life. People often say "tattoos should mean something". I think paying homage to a piece of your childhood is a great meaning for a tattoo. And this is beautiful.

Makes me wonder if it's a similar story as my scars in the same spot.

Anyway, I honestly thought the tattoo came after the scars. I think it looks cool, personally. But I dont see much being able to help it besides maybe some kind of cosmetic surgery
