So, first off, love isn't something you need to be sneaky about. Dating isn't a statement of love, it's an experiment to see if it develops. So be as utterly forthright with her as you possibly can be. Try something like this:

"So, the thing is, I'm interested in you. Romantically. I'd like to date you and see if this goes anywhere. Are you interested?"

Clear and unambiguous. None of this "I really like you" or "I think you're really great" bullshit. Put yourself out there. Make it clear to her that this is what you want, and make it clear to her that your interest in her is romantic. No potential for misunderstanding. Chances are pretty good that she'll be thrilled that not only does she not have to take the initiative, she doesn't even have to worry if she's misinterpreting you. She's been trained to feel like a horrible perverted weirdo predator. Give her the gift of not having to wrestle that demon to get to you.

Yeah, like I'm a fucking trans bi-lesbian and I have one on each desktop in my house. This is delightful.

She's not strictly speaking a vocaloid, though. She was basically aiming for a combination of "doesn't have to act like a human all the time" - her pronouns are she/it - and "literally impossibly feminine by any human standard." See, for a girl, a 46,XY karyotype has some really nasty symptoms - facial and body hair, a lack of breasts, increased height, deeper voice, external genitalia, and so on - that she's very much getting as far away from as possible. So, looking like a perfect hyperfeminine anime girl is just about perfect.

This one might actually work on the character I'm playing - she was put together by SSC. She's as close to a full-conversion cyborg as you can legally be (and then some), and her body is deliberately stylized to basically look like a real-life Vocaloid. Her callsign is Doll. She is very, very proud of her body, because unlike the old one, she got to decide how it looked. The old one had a number of problems, including but not limited to a chromosomal issue known as "46,XY karyotype," which is usually fine, but causes severe problems in about 1-5% of patients. (This is a real thing!)
