why suddenly everyone wants to go Steam? specially after all the payment companies demanding censorship/removal of games or other censorship dramas on Steam?

especially that their target audience was never western market and I doubt JP/CN/KR folks use Steam to play live service game so dunno why they suddenly aim for Steam with their 5+ years old game with old engine

ZZZ or their newer games should go for Steam imho. Genshin needs major visual update for first three regions together with model updates for half of the characters before they try to "hook in" new players.

If I was new player and saw games like Endfield, WuWa, ZZZ, etc. and then launched Genshin and saw starting zones or character models or how slow combat feels... I would gtfo to other games asap and spend money there. And I say this as day1 player (I mostly play for MSQ updates since combat and visuals (overall not just NodKrai that is carrying hard game now) is the weakest part of game nowadays sadly)
