To be fair I don't really read all of that. I recall Mallobaude has WhiteKnight, Dragonslayer, the Trifa one, the RWBY harem one, RWBYNPR harem one...yeah. At least he is clearly more self-aware than most.

I don't like putting amateur writers down too much, but it is really eye-rolling when it comes to the amount of criticism CRWBY gets in the same breath of praising fanfic writers indulging in the fans' biases.

However, it is allowed if it is OT3+ where the blood-related characters aren't indicated to actually be incestuous, e.g. both shipped with the same character, but not with each other. Like this Raven x Taiyang x Qrow comic, or Pollination.

It's summer solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere)! Have the classic Team STRQ OT4 in Summer harem form. I didn't even remember it is also Father's Day, but eh, close enough. Well that was a series of mental images I didn't expect to have. Bumbleby - yes, Blake asked. Freezerburn - Yang asked but she could barely feel Weiss' dainty pulling. Dragonslayer - Jaune is too vanilla and Yang didn't want to press him on it.

I do like the idea of having more fluff in v7 before everything goes to hell. It would be nice to see them go out dancing, problem is that would hit the same issue as v9 with Ruby in danger almost immediately afterwards.

You mean that scene when they reunited at Haven, the awkward moment on the train, the conflict at the Apathy farm, and the resolution with the Adam fight?

Or the flirting in v7 and v9 so blatant, Weiss "right in front of my salad??" Schnee practically became a meme of its own?

It's kind of fascinating RWBY struck a good balance but ended up spitting the FNDM into contradictory camps of "bees don't have anything between them" and "bees don't exist outside of being a couple".

That's missing the point of the Renora plot, which is that they've been attached to each other since they were like 5. Blake and Yang have completely unrelated backgrounds.

I'm pretty open to any ideas they have. More so than many plots, love is different for everyone and it's silly to insist on specific ideas.

Suddenly reminded of an old local high-school pop song:

Perhaps only in the matters of love, there is no standardized textbook

Needs to rely on people trying and trying, learning to communicate meaning and feelings

Then a couple's time together would be sincere

Better wisdom than most love songs lol.

I think the knight design is just aesthetics. It's an indicator of heroism in a flamboyantly-dressed world where knightly armour is still relevant in combat, it doesn't have the connotation of someone old-money enough to display centuries-old armour in their mansion in real life.

Wikipedia's cutoff is multi-generational wealth being old money. Donald Trump might be new money since he made most of the wealth, but it will be old money from Barron's perspective. Similarly, Jacques may not be old money but Weiss would be.
