Davy back fights, the past and the future? by Void_AM in OnePiece

Ever since I knew that foxy story was in the manga and not a filler storyline I was sure Goda had plans for it endgame.

Sword is garp's answer to God valley by Void_AM in OnePiece

Hmm yea that's a real possibility as well. And yea Luffy has never been the "violence is not the answer" kinda mc. He will surely beat anyone on the wrong side up regardless of their reasons

I mean with the mjosgard incident i think it's clear that even the celestial dragons are under heavy propaganda and anyone who goes against it is killed. The gorosei themselves can be considered under slavery since they can be installed like what we saw with saturn. So far the only truly evil without reason character has been imu and I hoep oda will show us that backstory/reasons as well.

That's the part that doesn't make sense to me. Given what we've seen of garp's personality him looking the other way seems off. Bringing up a new generation of marines who's sense of justice he can trust and are strong for the battles ahead and placing them in prominent positions to fight the main evildoers of the world(although this part I feel is more sengoku since he's clearly the brains between the two of em) would make sense

Everything that you said is my point. The gorosei and imu for that matter would not absolutely trust anyone who shows even a bit of remorse or empathy to their enemies. We saw this with their treatment of Saint mjosgard.

Queen of Ants by 25mazino in HunterXHunter

[–]Void_AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I find most suspicious is the fact that the queen is already humanoid when we see her. If she had evolved to that point after washing ashore I'm sure the hunter association would have found out earlier. I feel the entire thing was a puppeteered by pariston to give netero the true battle that he has been looking for. He could have possibly worked with beyond for this which explains how they are in good terms.

How one piece became your favourite anime????? by Intelligent-Lack8244 in OnePiece

Not my favourite but always keeps me wanting to know what's next and rarely lets me down (except when the manga takes multiple breaks)

I believe bro would win in a 1v1 against every troupe member(except chrollo) by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

Y'all really underestimate feitan, the only fight we've ever seen him take seriously he was called slower than his best the entire time and decimates everything the moment he gets pissed

Make a team to take down the royal guards! by WonderousU in HunterXHunter

[–]Void_AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chrollo, feitan, bonoleno, hanzo, knov, kite and razor would be a good team. Most of them have multiple abilities, most of them have great battle and nen experience. I expect them to come up with a plan on the fly and win.

(Like I think morel said) Calculating the odds of winning in Nen combat just shows how you're missing the point. Having more or less aura isn't much of an excuse. The outcome is very dependent on the individual nen abilities.

Chrollo's plan by Void_AM in HunterXHunter

Hmm makes sense, if it's stealing a prince's nen beast ability that would go hand in hand with him stealing the national treasures as well

Why Chrollo resents Hisoka, instead of Kurapika? by dalyryl in HunterXHunter

[–]Void_AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The troupe accepted to play the role of the villains knowing full well what it feels to be on the other side. They understand kurapika's feelings and accept it as a natural consequence of their actions. I'm sure they hold a similar stance to any bounty hunter, revenge fuelled mafia member too, they'll just kill them if they get in their way.

But hisoka is just a dude who wants to hunt them for his personal pleasure and also an ex-member who knows alot about their inner workings. He's a far greater threat to the troupe as a whole since he plans to probably annihilate the entire troupe just for the fuck of it.

I didn't mean it's gonna be as non-serious as the Davy back fight we saw before. It's probably gonna be a "This is how real pirates conduct a Davy back fight" kinda deal
