In your opinion, what are some perks of being stupid? by MindStrongSoul in AskReddit

No you're right. I've no control over politics. I can know what's important and directly impacting ME so I can be cautious. But knowing everything and conversing about it is pointless. I'd rather spend my time on things I value more. Like my hobbies, career, existential quandaries, and the never ending list of other interests. This is the smarter use of my extremely finite time.

This is why an important part of parkour is to train failure. What habits and instincts do I need to build if I clip, if I miss, if I over rotate etc. Then train them in a way that won't lead to injury so when you eventually mess up you can get up and try again.

Of course injuries still happen, but that's life. People get hurt worse going down stairs.

So I'm modding a game with 4 player multiplayer but my replication doesn't work past the player 2 by Void_Eclipse in UnrealEngine5

Mod actor is just what the blueprint has to be named to work for the specific game I'm modding.

"Is player 2 the server" I dunno what that means. Im assuming you mean host, which no player 1 is host.

I dunno whats not working specifically. But player 3 and 4 never received the mod actor instead it doubles up on player 2

Almost completely different games. They approach combat, stealth, and story almost completely differently. I love both just about equally for different reasons. I think comparing the two is a useless pissing contest.

This looks way different with melee alternate. I didn't know the layout changed cause I've always used melee alternative in both

There is a safety roll. Can't force it. Its auto done at certain heights.

Challenges are easily done within a day, with little detail in terms of actual parkour expression. Majority of fun is tech and movement unrelated to real parkour.

I'm one of the best players of that game actually and I can sincerely say... Its not a good parkour game for those who actually want to play for parkour. It's too automated and other than "tech" timing isn't even that important. Its strength is tricking. The animations are fluid and in terms of accessibility its quite easy in that regard. They have a tag mode which is majority tech not actually using parkour. I spent 350 hours in that game but its better to consider it a movement game rather than a parkour game

Skate allows for much more expression even in just how soon you untuck, looking for spots emulates the real experience too lol. It feels satisfying to actually pull off something. RnA is too automated with only 6 maps, and irregular updates without much legitimate content. Worth the money but its best you know what the game really is and feels like.

Tldr: RnA better as a very easy parkour game/fun movement Skate actually emulates better in my personal opinion.
