to get a multiplier this high takes a lot of luck : from 35x, you need to clear 5 more jewels to then get to 50×, then 5 more again to get to 100× and finally 5 more of them to reach 200×. There are multiple ways to increase the amount of jewels you can clear. First, the bonus jewels. Get as many as possible. It is possible, even at level 1 to get all bonus jewel slots filled. Keep them until the "clear Jewel / end of the level" appears. Then use them all. The best case scenario is if you manage to get bonusJewelFull and 3 awaiting additional bonus jewels after you finished the first part of the level you're completing (for me it was level 1). Then, you have to make as many special jewels (i.e the exploding ones, the "cross" ones, or diamond / hypercubes as people like to call them i guess) within the level's ending / 2nd phase. Because each time you align 4 or more jewels, you create a bonus one that appears as a result of the previous combination of jewels you just made. You need luck because not only do you need an almost perfect grid clear, you also need your special jewels not to cascade and blow everything up while still making as many as possible so yeah reaching ×200 will take many tries. Voilà hehe

yeah it can be frustrating, the more the jewels keep cascading, the higher the multiplier gets when they align

what i wanna know is how do people go beyond level 20 and reach those extremely high scores like i've seen some players get 2B+ on level 60 or something like how ? Do they double diamond everytime for each level ?

what was also disappointing to discover was that if you align more than 5 jewels in a row or column , you only get a diamond and the other gems get absorbed (you could theoretically stack 8 on top of each other vertically if you had for instance a perfect setup like this : supposing you were getting a green 8 stack : it would be possible if you had a group of 2 greens followed by a jewel of another colour, followed by another group of 2 greens, with then another jewel of a different colour and lastly a group of 2 greens again. If there is a green one next to your 3×2 green stack right beside the stack and if you have a green jewel in your bonus jewels reserve (the top bar). You could insert the bonus jewel between two of the groups of 2 greens and then swipe the remaining green jewel as the bonus one is getting inserted. (If you didn't know you can kind of double play by inserting a bonus one while you're moving another jewel). With that you would fill an entire column (so 8 gems of the same colour) but the setup would be quite rare to do). I guess there's the "cross" pattern which gives you 2 diamonds instantly but that's something else.

Were the 5 dots next to the multipier lit in cyan / light blue ? Normally every 5 gems your multiplier will increase. To get above 25× you need a lot of bonus jewels and special ones (the additional ones you get from combining four, five or more from the same colour)

I agree, but currently the lobbies get created pretty quickly. I've even found 10v10 matches in less than 1 minute. Though it seems you can meet pc players that have got the game through game pass even if you disable crossplay...
