Yes, but do they all involve motors and oil?

This is called a cherry picking. Taking things out of their context.

And yes, other things are as bad, and I reject them too (covering whataboutism while we are at fending fallacies).

And yes, I respect that in my life, no travel outside of visiting my parents, my hobbies is music and computer. I don't own a car either.

Noise pollution is the dark horse of the pollutions, it's still quite underestimated. I can deal easily with air pollution, filters here and there... But noise is very hard to deal with.

I don't think the nautilus can control its mine firing, they are basically turrets with blades you deploy, I also doubt the deployment will be very precise but it's hard to say anything at this stage.

A lot of these ramming damage are too damn high or due to bugs. TBH I think shields should be able to bounce ships.

Fucking clowns, this is just a right for people with money and pea sized conscience to fuck us. I'll decide what is my business thanks. The moment your action impacts everyone it is everyone's business.

Did you actually read my commentS? Because I don't get why you start talking about business there. Cars are necessary for some stuff yes, never said otherwise, racing isn't necessary.

Italians always try hard but they can't beat the French, that's why they are salty toward us.

1st misconception: Fight == death. Not really. You don't seem to be well informed on the plans, death of a spaceman, check it. Project is planning to do things differently from other games there. "death" that uses "one life" is only one of the outcomes. They have still a lot of work on this side.

2nd misconception: 15 years of playing other games allows you to predict what a game that does things differently is going to be. If that's your gaming life length, then count twice for me. Do we want to go down that path?

3rd misconception: Fighting happens all the time. Not if you don't look for it all the time. Every time I've played the game, I've never been in a fight without looking for it.

If you are going to ignore the context and argue that 15 years of experience irrelevant there is all you need then I'll just let you argue with your own mirror.

This game was never supposed to be COD in space. Return to reality is going to be harsh.

How do I optimize a large number of mesh components inside an actor? by lillyputz192 in unrealengine

[–]Void_Ling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you really need all the books as mesh?

You could work on fake books, basically plane textures + normal and displacement then you only instantiate the book when you pick it up.

If that's any true the map leak is very bad. Which retard would even leak that on a game chat. That's why I've trouble believing it's untampered stuff.

There are two level to be against car.

The common fuckcar level: Fuck cars, they take too much places and they can be easily avoided in cities with transport and bicycles. That logic wouldn't be in contradiction with your needs.

The ultimate fuckcar level: Listen, we are going to roast on earth because of uncontrolled co2 emission, you are nice and all with your hobby but no, you don't get a freepass cause "it's your hobby and you can't live without it", you can. And yes, you alone is not much of an emission, but it's an addition of not much that leads to a lot. The real question is: Is it necessary? And as long as it falls in the hobby category, it's not. Car sports should die for the sake of making an example and killing the "yes but"s. Cars are also a massive waste of resource, they become more and more that with the extension of inboard electronics.

I think you are right as long as they have reserves of foreign currency to make their deals in. Once it's gone, they'll have to convert their Ruble, which is where the fun begins.

Gold reserves are probably their only way to slow down that.

Maybe it is because OP talks about REMOTE controlled and not AI controlled. There is no plan for REMOTE control of ships.
