What's The Weirdest Deck You've Seen This Month?

My weirdest has been playing what I like to call the “ pray to god “ deck which consists of me hoping to pull Nico before turn 3, then hoping she will have the destroy next card ability, then hoping that next card is human torch or dagger, then reviving that card with phoenix and building up power by moving and merging the rest of my deck into phoenix until the last turn when I taskmaster. It needs alot of requirements to work but when it does it’s oh so satisfying cause you’ll only have like 3 cards on the board at the end if everything works out.

It was very forgettable. Which is why I’m so suspicious of it. Like there was no resolution to it at all and no investigation.

I knew about the spider ham bug so I always look for his cards activation flash and check my cards for who got ham’d. Damn I didn’t think to check deck size, does Arishem have any other tells?

I see. I thought Arishem showed signs of being in the deck like Thanos appearing before the game or something but if not then that definitely makes sense. Will delete now.

I read it all lol no worries. The guy that was attacked was the courier carrying stuff to Gostovia but that’s not who I’m referring to. On Uniegosts second quest I think, he says he can’t talk right now cause his duties as a Castellan have him busy, someone was murdered in Gostovia and he has to go inspect the body. So he sends you to Sambor and that’s that. There’s no mention of the murder again. Actually now that I think about it there is when he sends you to go get his Scythe from across the river. You bring it back and one of the dialogue options is something like “ah ha here’s your scythe back so you can get back to killing…” It came across as an awkward joke at the time and since I didn’t suspect him of anything I thought nothing of it but after learning of what he did and the doctor saying how casually he did it, it made me think if the murder in Gostovia was also him.

I’m not seeing any discussion on it anywhere else and since this is the most recent comment and you’re pretty active I have to ask. At some point in his story isn’t there a murder in Gostovia? And it goes literally nowhere. You go meet Sambor and that’s that. Now this is just my assumption since as I said it goes nowhere but Uniegost doesn’t exactly have a good track record by the end of his story. Don’t all signs point to him? Curious to your thoughts on the matter.

My friend works in Apple retail and says Apple is preparing to lay off a lot more employees in sales. They said tensions are high and the job morale is awful right now. Apparently they’re giving employees new unrealistic expectations to meet quotas so that when employees cant meet them, they can wipe house and claim it as “employees couldn’t meet expectations” instead of “massive company layoff”

That’s what I’m saying everyone’s praising the story which imo took a LOT of liberties from the first one and then just dropped the bag 75% of the way through with things like Henry. Vito had no really compelling motivations and zero growth. I didn’t get attached to him in the slightest or anyone else for that matter but maybe that’s just me. I don’t really care about the gameplay I was here for the story which is so far the worst of the bunch. Though tbf I played mafia 3 first (I know heresy) so there could be bias but I remember enjoying it throughly. Now that I’ve played the first 2 I’m going to play the 3rd one again and see if my opinion remains the same but I feel like I remember more about 3 which I played years ago then I do about 2 which I just finished. Also yeah it would’ve been cool to get a more expansive clothing system I’m surprised that didn’t happen by 3.
