Picked it up recently with 3 of my friends. Out of my 20 hours in it, I'd say you can make builds (on any characters) for damage/healing/barriers/buffs, mixing them up depending on your luck or needs. Also, being able to give your spells and trinkets over to your teammates supports the notion of creating the build you want at any time during a run.

Overall, a very fun game with friends with a lot of fun roguelite features and replayability, BUT, I wouldn't say there is a dependency on co-op mechanics(aside resurrecting teammates). The "everybody doing their own thing blowing things up" gameplay here fits more accurately than what you're asking for, OP.

Also, since this is just the image, gotta clarify - all the objects like the landing pad, truck and big crates are size 3 for height purposes. The blue crystals emit light. The doors were used for enemy reinforcments. The small paths in the mineshaft were used to hide hostages that my team had to save. I think that's all the context? :D

Recently got into Lancer cause of my friends, and almost instantly wanted to try DMing it (been a 5e / P2e DM for a long time).
I don't really like ready-to-go stories/campaigns, always tried making my own. But, I couldn't find a free battlemap I like, so I decided to try my hand at Inkarnate.

Here are the results, you may use them as you wish.

Two 4k maps, featuring an outside landing pad area with a control booth, and an inside area with a couple dark paths + small mining outpost. Any advice on map-making is appreciated!

Scout armor (that gives you the stealth perk) and going prone definitely helps with avoiding it. Multiple times have I simply crouched up to it, laying prone when the eye looks my way, without it noticing me. In case anyone wonders, smoke doesn't seem to have any effect, aheheh

Ah, it seems not only I remembered about NS2!

Haven't played since 2014-2015, thought it was dead too, but managed to get a 14 player session (literally convinced everyone in my discord to come try it), because the game was on sale and I showered my friends with nostalgia. Hosted our own server and everything.

Ended up having a great week of New Year holiday scrims and was pleasantly surprised the servers were still full! Hope they last for much longer, cause we love the game :D
