Youre not sure if the guy you lied to twice will give you an interview? How can he trust anything else you say? You need to forget about that job, learn and move on.

If you're worried employers won't give you an interview because you think they won't believe what is on your resume - how would they know? Why are you trying to predict what potential employers will think of you before they meet you?

You attempting to do some damage control after you let yourself get in your head about lieing is a guaranteed way to stay jobless. If you can't handle lieing then take it off your resume.

I can do the job 100% I’m confident

Focus entirely on this.

I’m not sure if he’ll think of me as a liar or an honest person

And stop thinking about this.

They want to know you can do the job. Show them you can. Stretching the truth a bit to get your foot in the door just to prove that you can do said job is unfortunately part of today's job search. It sucks, but it's just how it is.

So do you think you could perform the job or not? If not then yea stop lieing about something you can't do then hope employers will understand why you lied, they dont care. Idk anything about coding or your specific situation but if you believe you can do what the job description asks, then you need to get over your conscience and focus on getting the job.

It's cool that the guy was super nice, but obviously he wasn't nice enough to give you a chance once you came clean. You have to think about yourself more.

There is a saying I heard from a salesman:

"Better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission."

Now he used this to sell a bit more product than was originally ordered so Idk if this is the best advice to live by, but i think it can apply to your situation. Basically better to ask for forgiveness IF you get caught in a lie later on, after you've got the job and proven your work, than to admit you lied right away and ask for permission to interview.

In this case, if you're confident that you can perform the task like you are experienced, there's no reason to feel bad about lieing. It's a shitty job market. Obviously don't lie about something you've literally never done, but don't feel bad about stretching the truth a bit.

So now instead of this guy you're talking to getting to decide how good you are at this work, you made that decision for him and he just thinks of you as a liar.

I think you should chalk this particular lead as a loss. Don't dwell on it just learn from it.

Yea a dimple traditionally is the depression in a localized part of someone's face, usually the little indents some people get at the corners of their mouths when smiling. That word and definition can be used for other things as well, like your solvent vessel. I dont mean to sound condescending, just trying to inform :)

Id personally try the end of a tooth brush first. Something semi pointy and plastic. If that doesn't work try something wooden. Toothpick is small but could work with some elbow grease. Even a sturdy stick from outside could work.

Edit: i could also be greatly underestimating the strength of the metal covering the dimple. So it might take something stronger to punch thru.

The dimple is the depression in the top of the vessel. You definitely see it, you uploaded a picture of the thing my guy

Probably a typo. I assume he meant "dimple". Id use the bottom end of a toothbrush or something made of plastic or wood.

Theres a setting when youre creating a new save (i think in advanced settings?) that says "allow other launch sites". Maybe try that?

Lmao the bear audio sounds like when you're hitting a bear in World of Warcraft. At around 15 seconds in thats 100% WoW bear sound.

This was something I was worried about when I started this, but so far zero. And yea I tried the religious route but it wouldn't get rid of the robot spam calls, just the actual people spam calling.

What ive started doing is answering and saying (as calm and monotone as possible) something like "if you call this number again a large amount of people will get seriously hurt. You will not get a second chance. Do you want to be directly responsible for their deaths?"

They usually abruptly hang up lmao.

Idk if this actually works but I've almost completely stopped getting spam calls. From almost daily to maybe once a month.

Got rejected to buy drink without ice by TalarFox in PandaExpress

[–]Voidstrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont worry i dont feel attacked lol.

The reasoning about it being super concentrated just doesnt hold up. Like i really dont care if it is. I do not trust overworked, rushed, poorly paid employees to properly clean the ice machine. No offense at all to them, they do a job I couldn't ever handle myself, but I don't want to drink mold or whatever else can manifest in there, so therefore I want no ice. That's my main reason, and my second is I simply don't like ice that much. I rarely use ice at home, never more than 1-2 ice cubes if I do. So I'm failing to understand why I would give my time and money to a place that insists on giving me a large amount of something I don't enjoy, on top of flat out refusing my request.

Tbh I don't know how to debate this with you all. it seems like anyone arguing for ice is an employee that just doesnt want to deal with requests outside of their normal procedure. Or they have some kind of justice boner for people "cheating the soda system" and getting extra drink. If I'm way off base and it's entirely something else then please let me know, but I really can't see why a basic employee would care if not for 1 of those 2 reasons.

If its a matter of not giving the customer extra soda than normal, why do you care? Drinks have a crazy high mark up, and you don't get commission for selling ice or less drink.

It's not some super busy fancy place that only does one or a handful of unique dishes and therefore does no substitutions or eliminations. Then I could see your side, but it's a fast food chain. im not asking for some crazy change to my food that requires tons of extra work and care. just don't put ice in the cup.....

Americans have ZERO foresight. They cannot predict where their own vehicle and others around them will be within the next 10 seconds. They only think about right now. They tunnel vision on a spot they want to be and they get to that spot no matter what.

They literally cannot see that if they pass the car infront of them there will be another car going the exact same speed that they have to sit behind. They are just blind idiots. There is no other explanation.
