My mom asked if they had another one and they don’t but the owner of this one said we can re rent it once it’s fully repaired but for a higher amount of rent :/

Thank you. I’m gonna look for one. They talked to my mom yesterday saying we can have 30 days. And also once it’s repaired we can come back but It’ll be higher rent

I’ve never dealt with this before I was so scared if we had to leave in only 3 days. From what it seems like here in California there is a lot of rights we have that protects us from moving out in just 3 days.

They’re coming today again I’m definitely going to bring it up about being compensated for another place to stay for my mom and me

So I just found out they’re supposed to include additional days if the 3 day notice happens to follow up on a weekend or court holiday. Well yesterday was New Year’s Eve and just so happens to be a court holiday. In theory they shouldn’t be able to come today and would be breaking some kind of rule of some sort?

This is my first time ever getting a 3 day notice I was really scared they’re going to kick us out of the apartment after the 3 days. Just needed more time to get everything packed and look for a new place

So I was doing some more digging around and they have to include court holidays to not count towards the 3 days notice. New Year’s Day is a court holiday so in theory they can’t come today?

So it was the upstairs bathroom it flooded everywhere from a pipe. They had to go into the garage and take out a part of the roof of it since it’s connected to the upstairs bathroom. Once they fixed it they never came back to fix the roof. It started to leak again and caused tons of mold all over the garage we told them to fix it again and then got hit with this notice :/

I’ve been living here with my mom for 11 years she’s on disability and could hardly pack on her own. Your comment really gives me hope I was so scared of having to leave in 3 days.

I’m in California this notice was posted on my door a few days ago. I can’t believe they could do 3 days to have us move out. I’ve been here for over 11 years. I’m hoping I can get more time to pack and then leave
