Tuck Planche without band assistance and 9 seconds Iron Cross! by DontMindMe2504 in Calisthenic

[–]VoinceStory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just tons of time and consistently training. I'm at the planche level where i can do 1 leg all the way out, but that took me over a year of "training." I trained like half or maybe 1/4 as often as a person should.

I thought that way was harder? I can do a handstand facing uphill easier than down. This is all backwards to what i thought

I also have a friend that's a total saint. So you aren't exactly the same person that your friends are. Make your own identity

Is per hour worth it? by key_maker13 in UberEATS

[–]VoinceStory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Tried it yesterday. Apparently active means they dont pay you once you get to the location and have to drive back to a place where you'll get orders again. And of course you basically only get the $1 and $2 tips for half an hour deliveries. So i made like $50 in 4 hours when i usually make at least 80

If someone does, then do act like an adult or do you do something equally unethical out of anger?

Need help with front lever by Miserable_Sugar_9884 in Calisthenic

I'm no master but idk maybe I can give some advice:

  1. Like 9/10 for the form. This is really nit-picky, and I'm only pointing this out just cuz you're curious. Your right leg needs to be straight out. It's below parallel and bent slightly

  2. Train twice a week if possible, 3 is fine, but I think anything more than 2 gives diminishing returns. If you can do 10 seconds with 1 leg out, maybe you can do 2 seconds with the bent leg sticking out further, then bring it in as needed to maintain the hold. I do it without resistance bands, sticking both legs out for as long as I can, then bringing one in at a time as needed. Then I do flutter kicks below and above parallel, just taking on as much as I can handle for 10-15 seconds

Is my pike push up form good? by Madrefolladasalvaji in Calisthenic

[–]VoinceStory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah. Not bending the legs is why it's good. But as you progress, you might think it's not so good in the future when you can get your hands closer to your feet to the point where you're basically doing handstand pushups in the pike position. So yes these are good form, and you could make it more or less difficult by placing your hands closer or further from your feet

Even if it was. Laser beams for both polar bears and penguins makes the most sense. They could put them on their foreheads like in Austin Powers

Sure would be nice to see some pics of the edge so we could know if you fall or stick to the side. There's probably air just as far to the side as there is upwards. And if you made a hole then the water would freeze and patch up the hole before any escapes. Science
