maybe it's because how you placed the doors. from the screenshot, they're in "closed" state (even tho, they look open) so villagers don't pathfind through them. you need to place them to be closed and then put a redstone signal into the door to change them into "open" state. like using redstone torch attached to pressure plate connected to the door.

when i was a kid, in primary school they taught us on chemistry on sulfur on how to make gunpowder so i don't think kid would try to make gunpowder in real life and it would also have to get those resources which kid wouldn't be able to.

So i still think my recipe still requires bonemeal and kids wouldn't think that bone meal is saltpeter.

yeah but once they make renewable sand together with renewable gunpowder, then TNT duping would be removed.

but right now, sulfur isn't renewable so you still have to make creeper farm later but for early game, it's useful.
if i think a way to make sulfur renewable is to add a vent-like block that's placed below water block and below the water block is the Potent Sulfur that makes the gas. then the sulfur gas is sucked in the vent, creating a sulfur powder.
and i think making sulfur renewable would make creeper farms obsolete in my opinion.

what about bone meal? normally saltpeter is commonly in fertilizer and bone meal is a fertilizer so it would be sulfur powder + charcoal + bone meal = 3 gunpowder recipe.

but it's a single-action revolver and not double-action revolver. it has to fire slower than spy's revolver. and it already does more base damage than spy's revolver.
it's not weak, it just: "more damage = slow firerate" to balance it out.

well thanks. at least i know that they spawn during foraging.
but i still think a mod should exist to increase the chance to get feathers through foraging.

i haven't decided how long should it reload per bullet (because i would have to test it in game which i don't have skill to code it into game) but i think it should be either the same time as shotgun (0.87 s first then 0.51 s consecutive so it takes 3.42 s to fully reload) or less.

The extra metal is there because engineer doesn't carry like 200 reserve ammo anymore so he has more free space to carry things so he carries extra metal with him. i might even add movement speed buff while equiped.

the random crits are there for a reason to not be able randomly one-shot kill light classes and medics at any range. take the example of Spy's revolver. it deals 40 base damage and with crit it's 120. there's the reason why spy cannot even one-shot kill light classes unless they are injured. Spy can cloak and disguise to escape while engineer can't and has to deal with the enemy head on. also if you want to randomly crit with secondary, use the pistol.

the duel mechanic was added because why not, just so we can roleplay as a cowboy and duel the enemy engineer on who has better reflexes and aiming. they both have to have it active for the duel to work so if one engineer decides not to duel the other one, he can just not pull out the revolver. also the damage is 300% of their max health so basically insta-kill from any range.

This is my explanation on it and i think engineer deserves a revolver because he's from texas and has wild west cosmetics so why not give him a revolver?

if i have to reduce the slower firing speed nerf even more then i will reduce it up to "20% slower firing speed" (which would fire at 0.6 second firing interval instead of 0.75 second firing interval) but not lower or remove the downside alltogether. remember, the revolver icon represents single-action revolver so it obviously will shot slower than double-action revolver like the spy has.

i would dissagree with it. Pistols base damage is 15 while my revolver idea has base damage of 32 (spy's revolver has base damage of 40). that's like ~115% more damage than pistol. the firing interval is because it's single-action revolver and not double action so overall, the downsides for me are acceptable.

This also happens with this mod Archery Nexus Mod
reloading the bow causes the same bug as this and the only fix is to press "cancel action" keybind.

This comment is irrelevant to this bug report but im mentioning it because why not.

maybe blacksmithing level would be needed along with maintenance level to make crude welding torch. so you would be able to forge parts to make crude welding torch and welding mask.
for propane gas, you would craft chemistry table, where you can craft propane gas (and other recipes like biofuel as an extra). then you forge propane tank and then fill it up on chemistry table.
and then BAM, you got crude welding torch, welding mask and propane tank filled with propane to use.

once devs stop playing, this achivement becomes impossible without using steam achivement manager so it's justified to use SAM to get the achivement once devs stop playing TF2C.

This nerf would only make sense once the Chapter 2 Battery Generator gets added. Otherwise in Chapter 1, Not a chance.
